i played a virtual boy game lol, it sucked
the 3d was kinda cool and all
but hella weak visual and i couldnt hear any music or sound

I kind of like having melee on the same day as brawl, its more fun with all the melee smashers around too, even though they hate me 'cuz I don't let them spam. LOL. But anyway, will i need an expansion pack to enter this tournament? Because that thing was ridiculous.

i kinda like the idea of having
brawl teams/melee singles on one day
brawl singles/melee teams on another day
if brawl singles/teams was one day and melee the other day, people would just leave and come for the tournament they wanna go to
if brawl singles/melee singles and brawl teams/melee teams was the other day, the community would be really secluded into brawl vs melee, and a lot of trash talking goes on, mostly "brawl sucks"
but if u switched it around...
it would be like "brawl teams is actually kinda good" and "melee singles *****"
and on the other day it would be like
"melee teams is amaaaazing" and "brawl sucks, but i wonder whos the best"
that way its still interesting
imo the funnest way to do dual tournyz

The reason there aren't enough **** talkers in Brawl is because Brawl isn't really that intense, as opposed to Melee. And the intensity of the game is directly proportional to the intensity within the community.
During the tournament Saturday, the Brawl crowd was so quiet. I heard very few uproars the whole time I was there. It was almost like they were at a funeral. I couldn't tell if they were having fun or what.

my input, if you really want this to be huge either make it 2 day tourney or 4 day tourney, dedicating the same amount of time to both games. if one day, friday, is for melee and the other two are for brawl, people will feel like melee is a side event, and not as many OOSers will come. I know i wouldn't for just one day, not worth it imo. also, i think brawl should be on saturday, cause it usually ends later (due to amount of people entering and length of matches), and i'd rather not be up all night sunday night AND saturday night. just a thought.

they are pretty funny but i dont think they'd do a good job talkin **** about melee cuz they tried at your smashfest and ended up playing it lol

Omg, if CC64 is in the summer, it better be in the opposite end of the season from Ohana.
Or, maybe we can do like, an OC3 type thing where people went straight from FCD to OC3. People might go straight from Ohana to CC64. However, I'm sure that would drastically hurt the attendance because a lot of Smashers have other jobs and responsibilities and can't take a whole week off.
Maybe you should plan with MattDotZeb to schedule your tourneys that way.
