I'm looking to start playing offline again. I wanna get better at Melee too.

Is anyone active in Durham? I still have no money and just a bike to get around. I'd offer to host, but my place is still under construction...

Well, the joke is that you clearly mean tournament. You can't lose at a smashfest, since there's no competition there.

looking for people to smash with in/near matthews/charlotte, NC, been trying to get ahold of the facebook group for melee, but have had no luck. I play melee and a little pm. Just moved here from New England so I may be a little inexperienced.

GameXcape tourney was actually kinda fun lol. They did FFA on somewhat laggy TVs but still. Good people cool store. I'd probably go back. Wouldn't be surprised if they'd be willing to run an Apex rules tourney.

I think you two are probably the most known out of the asheville/brevard area lol I think I've watched some old videos of you guys playing and I'm guessing you guys have gotten a lot better since then so I'm hyped for the possibility of this tourney :D

boone has a handful of players (2 of us are here year round), winston has a few and charlotte has a good amount. you should join the facebook group. when are you in boone?

...those are some pretty spread out areas lol. There's a buuunch of people at UNCC now. Most of us are noob. Idk how many of us will be around for the summer, I won't be.

Wilkesboro is a 30 minute drive, so I can be there whenever! I'm pretty new to the state as a whole.

Yeah, it's spread out haha. I've been to UNCC once for LoL World Finals viewing party and recently got into smash so I'm pretty noob too. I'm pretty frequently in Boone or Winston-Salem though. I have a pretty thorough background in competitive gaming so I'm not opposed to driving far out for events or even just to play with groups of people.
