You can be "Dash" but you have to learn what it takes to be "THE Dash".

Duplication works too though.

Anyways, lets think of Ponies as Pokemon. We're Already doing the Sparkles thing which's sorta like leveling up/down to become a Pony and eventually a cutiemark.
And we can have like... Ponies in Regions with different attributes as long as it still (Say) resembles you being Rarity. So you can be fabulous but also have a different outlook to atleast be different.

Cause in Pokemon, despite there being the same type of Gym leaders. IT'S NOT LIKE, they have the same pokemon in every Region.

Here, google, some livejournal link, a few random other places. I pretty much just save every Fluttershy pic I see and any pics of the other ponies that stand out to me.

If I could have Fluttershy follow me around everywhere for a day, I would be so happy.
But since that's the cliche response, I'd have to pick Lyra cuz she's bipolar, (apparently can teleport as I noticed her in ep 1 she was in Canterlot one minute, then Ponyville the next o.O), badass, and can play melodic songs with her lyre.
