No, a vector is a graphic that maintains it's structure/resolution when resized, because it's not made out of pixels, it's made out of scalable shapes.


png/jpg/gif etc are not vectors.

An example of a random Colgate vector that was resized...

While the resolution indeed didn't change, the white background appears.
