MLP:FiM made me realize how much I, and my life, suck, and how the best things can come from unexpected places. The community is also hella talented and welcoming, and the creators of the show actually apparently care about such an unexpected, huge fandom, thus earning a little bit of faith in humanity from me. A little bit.
This and me realizing other communities can make your life better.Incidentally, the fandom has further ruined what opinion I had in humanity.
Not that I care either way though.
Despite how sad it is in the end.

It got me to try drawing for the first time as well as getting to know some of you guys.
I've always doodled in class after I finished my work, I just never got so motivated since ponies was released in 2010.

my ponyversary is coming up in 4 days (the anniversary of me becoming a brony, and yes i know the exact date thanks to a thread made exactly one year ago over in user blogs)
this show, the fandom, the responses to the fandom, and particularly what goes on in this thread have all taught me a great deal about human nature (possibly my favorite thing in the world to study)
one of my primary uses of the internet is as a way to get to know a large number of extremely different people. becoming friends with brony smashers has been a ton of fun and extremely interesting.
i've also learned a lot about myself, and a lot about what makes an artistic work great.

Alicorn or not, my mane mare, my unicorn, Twilight
MLP FiM strengthened the bond the SA Smash crew already has even further (although only those that became bronies, to the dismay of the non-bronies) and it got me back into drawing since drawing Brawl stuffs back in 3 years ago. However it did significantly change me to be completely obsessed and possessive of the character known as Twilight Sparkle, in which I take my fandom with pride publicly. And by pride, more along the sin kind of pride.

Ponies changed my life by giving me something to talk about on Smashboards. I had like 7 posts last year before I started watching it. Also I sorta draw now too.
