Banning Metaknight hrm? Well...it's your tournament and I personally don't use him so doesn't bother me. Why did you ban DDD infinate but not ice climber infinate though....Icies can infinate just about any character and there's can lead into a KO...:laugh:

Because the ice climbers don't have a broken grab range, can get seperated, can be gimped, aren't heavy, and can be effectively spaced and gimped?

its been a bit since my last post but i must say im pleased to hear metaknight is banned.
^_^ although my fav stage is banned (corneria) i still feel confident that i won't lose. . . . . .so soon this time ahah

hrmm...well Kirby has trouble with the ice climbers...so that;s the only real reason why I h8 their chain grab.

Anywho, Me and CaptainN will hopefully be able to make this one...odds are good. Though KO you made the date the same day as the reckoning tournament thingy down here in memphis. I wasn;t going to go to it b/c it;s in a horrible neighborhood but some other memphis players are gonna be more drawn to it. :( Prolly too late to reschedule but just throwing that out there. The melee is probably going to attract the memphis meleers though. :chuckle:

I always sucked at Melee. After getting into the competitive scene with Brawl though, I gave Melee a go recently, and found myself to be a lot better at it. I'll probably join melee singles as well, at least for lulz, if I have spare cash.

yeah ICs chain throwing isnt as gamebreaking as Dedede's. he makes DK Mario luigi and samus unviable for the most part

I just wanted to know what is the usual attendance at this tournament is because I might go? I'm coming from Miami so i Kinda don't want to drive 4 hours for a 20 person tournament. Just wanted to know.

It seems so lame.. but I can't say that is over centralized, I can't think of one strat that would run the place.

Only seems to break one move.. shuttle loop =[. But we don't have to worry about that.

Mario and Luigi for the most part can be viable. Samus I still dunno.

Snake + Luigi would be beast without the D3 infinite. I'm speaking as. Luigi covers Snakes bad matchups for the most part with. that. (not counting MK cause he won't be here =o) I think. I know Luigi wrecks Olimar atleast. and D3 without the infinite.

Mario would be average. well. basically the same. but a bit better.

same applies to Samus. If Samus had a reliable kill move she'd shoot straight up on the list. but. she. fails. there.

I've been playing melee for about a month but I plan on entering -- you have to help me out in friendlies after wrecking me though k? :)
