Edit: Just noticed that the OP was edited today and the date is moved to the 30th. What's the story with Omega's tournament that he was talking about hosting on the 23rd as well, was the date change due to conflicts with this?

Hey guys, just trying to get the word out to surrounding areas. There will be a Smash Bros. Melee tournament at Mississippi State (Starkville, MS) on Friday, October 31st. We will be meeting at Butler 100 at 7pm and it will last until whenever it finishes. It's just a $5 entry fee. Bring setups/CRT's if you can. If you have any questions please feel free to post them in the MSU VGC Facebook page or just message me. I hope to see a decent crowd there!

Some friends and I started up a small group of Smash players in Lebanon, we have smashfests almost every week of pretty much every game, and we hope to visit that Score as a group sometime soon.

AngryROB - you necro'd this thread pretty hard. FYI we host weeklies in Murfreesboro that has PM Melee and Smash 4, There is also a monthly event we host for Smash 4 and Smash 64 at the same venue that tends to be a lot bigger than the weeklies. Not sure where you are from but Knoxville and Memphis both have pretty large smash 4 scenes as well while chattanooga is kinda small but still has some stuff going on as well. Clarksville hosts free weeklies too, while having a Major tournament every 2-3 months.

Sorry if this is an irrelevant or previously answered question, but is there any Smash 4 at this venue? I'm in Murfreesboro, but there aren't any nearby Smash 4 tourneys or anything that I'm aware of. If not, would you consider adding Smash 4 to the playlist?

Smash 4 has its own events now for SMASH The Score. This thread is ultra old you should post on the TN Locator thread which is only slightly more active or Post on the Middle TN Facebook group which is highly active.

Middle TN has tournaments for all of the 4 active games (Melee, PM, Smash 4, and Smash 64)

There isn't a scene for brawl in middle tn but your best bet is to try and hit up the Facebook groups.
