Most of the characters are literal redraws or traces of ingame frames, cosmetic posing, or even character renders rather than have a fluid art style that mixes it all together

I know, but that’s only one part of the ugliness.

Yeah the traced characters are kinda whatever.

However, AJAX as usual is being coy about the drawing. So those items that were spotted might be about future characters. I mean a solid half of them we already know thanks to the datamines

Yeah those are characters that we already know for ages at this point. My guess is that Season 4 will be Wicked witch + Raven and Season 5 will be Marceline and Aquaman

Yeah I don't think that's impossible, but I'm giving Wicked witch and Raven the edge because of how prominent the former is in the comic and the latter has been teased for a very long time, much more than Marcy actually. Also both have data since the early beta days 2 years ago.

The Batman event has been soooo much easier to grind because the accessible skins are not locked behind only 2 characters (provided you don't care about the gleemium skins) so i actually want to play the game. Naturally i got the Shaggy and Beetlejuice variants and i've winning consistently too. The next big grind might be the Ringout as i already got the banner, smoke bomb ringout and Batman himself

Though one downside is that it makes me really careful with shards in case a character can be earned in an event, which is why i haven't bought almost anyone outside of newer characters (i'm saving my shards for Nubia)

trying to earn myself those batman coins to unlock those golden baterangs, however i haven't unlock a single one yet and i have some ideas as to why.

Someone on here before has said there's a way to unlock batman coins or baterangs, can anyone explain to me what it was please?

Batman coins can be obtained by:
-Doing PVP matches (you get 2x coins wearing an event skin)
-Doing the event missions (in the Missions tab)
-Grinding EXP for the event (you get 2x exp wearing an event skin)
-Collecting the daily bonus from the event (find it in Events, click the event, then click the daily bonus button.)
-Doing the Rift event

Batarangs can only be bought from the event store for 4k coins each. You can only buy 5 Batarangs total, so think carefully about which skins you want.

Maybe it was just meant to be a more recap Rift focused around Batman and that it might've been too goofy to go from Batman recruiting the Powerpuff Girls to suddenly a Birthday party? We'll see when the next Rift comes around.

I‘m going to assume that they were just short on time. Writing dialogue also means more stuff you have to verify with WB, I’d assume, and they really didn’t want to delay the rift.

I think it would’ve been simple enough to explain it as Batman bringing the PPG to Gotham and then the four of them kicking all of Batman’s enemies‘ butts, like a simple crossover episode.

Probably not before Pearl, Amethyst or Lapis, definitely, unless someone on the dev team really likes her. Kinda crazy the maybe-kinda-sorta hints in that image isn't even the first time I've heard the possibility though.

Anyways, Blue Diamond has a power that can incapacitate other gems by transferring her own sadness into them, overwhelming them with negative emotion. It doesn't work on non-gems but I'm sure for gameplay purposes it'll work on everyone. She can create energy blasts in the form of spheres or a hail of lasers, some kind of aura beam thing she does with Yellow, and eventually gets a new power that can create clouds that have the opposite effect to the other power, it puts anyone who touches them into a state of bliss. Also she's huge, so she's got the strength to match.

As much as I agree, I think this is more so a problem due to the kind of game it is. It shouldn't have to be that way, but because they made the stupid decision to have it be a GAAS game...well, that's where we are.

It would require a fundamental change in how the game itself is actually structured. Right now basically every thing is stored server-side instead of client-side.
