IMO, it's whorenado. Against good people, spamming it is ********, and it leaves you open for punishment. It's average at best.

No, it's amazing at worst. Overrated? Maybe, probably not. Average? Hell no.

Anyways, I'd say it's gotta be Dins fire.

The Gyro. It takes as much time to charge as Giant Punch, does like no damage or knockback, and can be thrown back.

Pit's arrows. They're not that great once people learn how to shield and dodge it.

Lol. are you kidding me? The gyro does 19 damage when fully carged and can EASILY kill an opponent while he/she is recovering.

Anyways, I would say falcon punch, but we have all been ***** by a falcon punch at least once. I'll go with din's fire.

Definitely Din's Fire...

It's easily not falcon punch because no one seriously thinks it's good.

Giant Punch does like 5x the knockback with equal charge time. The hitbox is bigger, and it can't be thrown back.

Sing. Calling it a move is overrating it.

Being serious though, it is only useful for ledgehopped sings unless your in an FFA and even then they can easily steal the ledge from you embarrassingly, resulting in a humiliating death.

Ditto, I mean, how good can this move be if they wake up before you even finish singing?

They actually dont wake up before you finish singing past 100%. But its range is terrible and as long as the opponent doesn't hold a smash (the third wave has almost double range so it puts them to sleep and they are surprised) and just uses it, its their free hit. Ledge canceled is the only true use but even that is limited. The ledge is easily stolen if anticipated, but it cancels the sing so you get a free ledgehopped aerial or special on them.

So how is this move that is considered to have no application overrated? Or am I missing something?
It is a move that is considered to harness the power of Chuck Norris to destroy the universe in a cataclysmic explosion. In the game, it is a slow punch attack that knocks you back, but it could take a half dozen punches to get even one KO.

Destory the Universe v. Punch to the Face.

It's overratedness has become an internet meme.

Ok... I was not arguing that the Gyro is better than Giant punch, I was arguing that the Gyro is not overrated.

But.... A Giant Punch done in the air can be easily dodged due to slow, and predictable execution time. Not to mention, DK will fall helplessly earning him some punishment. You cannot shoot a Giant Punch.

LOL

I hate playing TL players who use that move too much.

Not because I get hit by it.

More because they continue to do it, even after I punish them.

over

over
and
over.

Din's fire is by far the most overrated move. It's way to easy to dodge. Sing if you actually think it's a move.

ZOMG Dins Fire sucks! Seriously nobody overrates Dins anymore.......this isn't April. The people that still think it's good are three year olds. It still forces characters to airdodge during their recovery, prevents MK, Pit, and Charizard from using thier glide, and forces approaches.

I would say Snakes mortars, Snakes nair, Pikas dsmash, or ROBs dsmash are more overrated......especially if we're talking about semi-intelligent people with a decent understanding of the game.

Overrated implies that the move isn't as good as people believe it to be. There is a good chance tha the move in question will have a meme surrounding it.

Ike's Fsmash is second place to Captain Falcon's Falcon Punch.

After all, all tripping results in a fully charged Ike F-smash to the face.

You can't glidetoss using a Giant Punch.

Both R.O.B.'s and Pika's d-smash are great tools. Even if you DI out of it, it has already done its job of getting the opponent away from you. Plus, R.O.B.'s glidetoss to d-smash is pretty dang amazing.

Marth's forward smash in brawl is heavily overrated.
Anything untipped by Marth is overrated in Brawl. But a tipped fsmash (provided you can hit it) is still very good.

The most overrated move, I think, is... okay, I have no idea what the most overrated move is. I guess Sing, because it's more of a taunt that it is a move.

Just wanted to point out that DK has a 0-death on Jiggs -- Forward-B > Giant Punch

Those moves are not overrated ;)

I disagree with the rest, the correct answer is the - Classical Forward Smash and Falcon Punch...
