Marth, definitely.

I prefer Ike over Marth, I don't see why people consider Marth one of the best characters in the game.

Because he is one of the best characters in the game. He's fast, a good gimper, only has 3 true bad matchups, etc.

there has never been a "bad" fire emblem character
even people who hate Ike say he shouldn't be lower on the tier list

Roy was worse than Marth for several reasons. He couldn't SHDFair, so he lost a valuable approach, he was comboed much easier, etc.

That's not an opinion. It's an educated guess, the tier list has sufficient data to back up their claims. They factored in tournament results, techniques, playstyles, and so much other stuff. What you're saying is an opinion, because there's no true proof either way that MK is overrated or not.

MK is the best in the game because he has no clear bad matchups, no bad stages, insane priority, a great recovery, and fast kill moves, among other things.

Meta Knight has an advantage and or even matchup with every character in the game.
It's arguable that Snake and Wario either go even or have an advantage against him.

Meta Knight has few bad qualities, probably the only thing holding him back is his weight. And even then, he can still output more damage quickly than any other character in the game. There's always a new strategy, half of your tournament experience is trying to overcome the swarm of Meta Knights.

because i don't think any good game has a absolute best character, there is skill as a major factor for who wins and who loses (in case you don't get that), and again, tiers change, while MK and Snake didn't since the last one, many characters did, especially characters listed on this thread
