'till now at E3 Nintendo just > Sony badly. (Microsoft is still ahead, but it's fine...)

2 new marios
New metroid (And wtf at those graphics. Did they found a new possibility with the wii or what? Those are awesome)
Possible new Zelda? GG no re !


I actually was gonna sell my wii really soon, but that just made me change idea. I woudn't of bought a wii for those, but since I already have one, those just saved it.


I think Nintendo conquered my heart for 09(hopefully)/10 >.<

The genre of the new Metroid is kinda up for grabs right now, it's like it showed 3rd person, first person and 2D sidescrolling at the same time. ( from memory, only saw it once )

And for the record, I didn't think Nintendo's conference was that solid.... Sure Galaxy 2 and Metroid saved grace, but New Super Mario Wii didn't look that amazing, and I'm not an RPG fan, so Golden Sun was a pretty average news for me...

Even though I don't own one, I actually thought Sony's was the most interesting conference this year... that makes it twice in a row -_- I want my Riiidge Racer and massive damage on crabs back ;-;

New smb wii is the first traditional mario game since mario world where you can ride a yoshi. that's really the only thing that got me interested in it. I didn't quite get why it had to have coop though. Aren't mario games easy enough as it is?

He said traditional. As in, 2D. At least I hope that's what he meant, because I thought of Sunshine immediately as well :p

I thought Yoshi was dearly missing from Galaxy as well, it's great that he's making a comeback here. : D

And that's the impression I get as well. Difficulty's going to be laughable with coop added... But then it seems like they're putting a big emphasis on high scores.

Since when are mario games hard anyway, if they were kinda hard, I doubt there would be so many speed runs of it. I woudn't play the game 4p, but 2p seemed nice.

as for Metroid, like Agora said it did seemed like there was side scrolling screen, but what I'm hoping is that it's not just 1 room by every 10-15 rooms like in prime with the Morph Ball rooms. Since I'm a huge fan of Super Metroid, I can only hope for there to be a lot of side scrolling areas. >.<



Okay, after seeing what Sony announced I got to say that, **** ! They announced some pretty ****ing awesome stuffs after all. Sequel to MGS3? Nice ! GoW 3, FF14 I didn't care about 11 quite frankly, but 14 looks amazing, awesome graphics for an mmo. and Uncharted 2 looks awesome as well. Man didn't think I'd be that impressed by Sony this year.

Um, i didnt see any yoshi riding in the new Super mario game, only in galaxy 2. You sure you guys arent getting it mixed up? If you are, then im sorry to burst your bubble about sidescrolling with mario and yoshi...

I actualy was most impressed by MS conference, which isnt saying much since i was only impressed by the advances in the Natal technology.

Try Final fantasy Legend II - It's actually challenging and fun, but don't expect graphics better than the classic opkemon games lol

Hmm, it seems i have put myself into a situation where i may require the help of someone from the montreal community. I had reserved the venue for its a trap! , but i still need to go to the actual place to go sign the contract with the owner. I had planned on going saturday with holy ( hes 20 and he told me he would be free) but it turns out he didnt realize theres a slight schedule problem when you have to be at two places at once (toronto tourney =_= ). So yeah, if any of you is willing to help and is free on saturday could you tell me ? I dont want to push this back for this is one of the only days i can go to montreal easily so i would like to do it on that date if possible.

Thanks to anyone willing to help!
