It takes two whole days to drive from nj to fl. Straight up driving.

No stops. It's what I've heard from my teacher.
I was like, "bull".

But then I remembered it took one day to get from fl to new york by train. It was at the speed of a truck.
So, meh.

Your teacher is.... wrong:
From Rutgers (where Apex is) to my city (just south of central Florida, and about 4/4.5 hours from the southern end of FL outside of the keys) is 18.5 hours according to google:

Granted, that goes through Virginia so it's probably closer to 21 hours. With absolutely no stops, it's under a day's drive. I don't know where your teacher got 48 hours o_O
