I tracked Orboknown last night to Gheb...meaning he MEANT to target PJB which I do not believe an innocent has any good protown reason for doing so. I am left to conclude that he is likely scum because I am fairly confident PJB sent in his night action first before (keep in mind NAR in this game is resolved on expediency) Orbo as evidenced by the former's activity around the beginning of the night as opposed the latter's inactivity.

Yes. Look at the Painter PM:

Notice how it says, "No Target"? That means the person chosen by the painter is targeted and thus indeed visited by them. The entire point of the role is to **** with the Tracker's results.

I'm looking at your 228 right now so spitball with me on a simple level here. Why doesn't Ghebscum **** on soup early D1? Like, I KNOW Ghebscum would've easily been able to pick away at townsoup there and gotten away with it easily but he instead stuck to a townread instead for seemingly little benefit. It's interesting and contrasts against what I believe to be an intuitive scum reaction enough that I'd like to know if you can make anything of it.

Also, not looking into detailed stuff here and just the overall picture of this game ... I'd think that a Sworddancer + Orbo scumteam is prolly the best thing to look at right now.

What makes you think that scum Gheb could've and would've picked away at town Soup?

The thing about Gheb is that if he had chosen to pick on Soup as well then I could just have easily called him out on that for "sheeping." Instead he picked to town read read and by that fact alone I could call him out on something else: "posturing. So the position he takes by itself isn't really telling (since it can be twisted any which way), but what I do think is telling is that's it's inappropriate.

Soup's play after being voted on by RR was extremely odd. I think we can all agree on that. I'm just looking back at that and I can't figure out how Gheb was drawing a town read from it. Even if you didn't like that cases other people were making surely the way Soup was playing would have given anyone pause. Instead though he handwaves it as "Soup's a nervous wreck" (which btw shouldn't really clear anyone by itself, because one can be nervous as either alignment) and assumes that Soup's town.

I can't tell you exactly what a scum Gheb is thinking right now, but I can offer the possible explanation that he IS posturing, and possibly playing to his meta. Most people know him to be that salty discount guy and lo and behold at the first chance to be salty and discount he already kicked the I'm salty" notch up to 11. In matter of fact, being a grump has pretty much been his only focus this game so far.

Also what do you believe would be an intuitive scum reaction? Do you remember in my interview when I said that scum goes out of their way to do something that "scum wouldn't do?" I think that that could be a primary motivation of a scum Gheb's play right now, no? What do you think?

I tracked PJB because I felt like he was just snowballing on all the hate I was getting yet not really doing anything about it. He voted me, but it didn't really go anywhere. I don't have a strong memory of everything he's done but based on how he's claimed his actions I think he's town. I believe RR is just being hard-headed because something didn't line up on his "Credible Soup Meta Tells" and he's likely town. I want to trust you also, but I can't say that you have my full trust yet. Orbo is a stellar vote based on activity and just getting him to do something. Your opinion on Swords?

I don't know, man. I town-read his incentive with the screenshot deal, but I don't really buy those tells anymore. I don't know why I tracked PJB considering his vote on Gheb earlier on was town as ****. I liked his thought process on the game and that one wall he made earlier on appealed to me, however I don't think he's as town as he was before, and I wouldn't really be against lynching him.

IMO Orbo > Gheb > Swords

I gotta read swords a bit more before I really say that's my definitive lynchpool, but right now RR/PJB are strong town to me.​
