I really hate this game because the protagonists are showing themselves from their worst sides. Everything you do and argue has become completely centered around the personalities of the players moreso than cold logic and facts. You're not reading into intent, you just provoke player X into some kind of response and present a pathetic excuse of a case and let people sheep. Where's the scummy intent in soup's reaction to Ryu's claim? Why is there an issue with him being inconsistent? Everybody knows that soup has pretty fragile nerves these days and all he's done is calling BS on Ryu's claim. How is that a problem?

Ryu, you're playing like a ******. The whole "make a completely ridiculous, outrageous claim to see who bites" has stopped working the moment dGames has started to hunt scum almost exclusively based on meta [aka at least 1.5 years ago]. It doesn't help you find scum, it doesn't make you look pro-town and it doesn't give us anything to talk about. Either point out where soup's "inconsistency" is of any consequence and leads to the conclusion that he's scummy or admit that you're full of BS. Even if you happen to be right about soup being scum, you are not doing a good job of showing us why, nor does the reason YOU presented give us any reason to believe you. Of course, with dGames being a bunch of tools it doesn't really matter how much substance there is behind a case, as long as there's a "case" with some kind of meta-reference everybody buys it.

I will not hesitate to lynch you on principle - just because your exceedingly scummy play fits your meta doesn't mean you can expect people to let you get away with it. Just because you intentionally do thinkgs that will inevitably be considered scummy by some doesn't mean you are not scummy. Pretending to have a purpose won't really help you. So either get lynched or just come out with your actual reads for once and explain them. This game isn't about you, it's about town finding the scumbags and get them.

Gonna have to disagree with you there. I've found scum plenty of times in my last couple games. The whole thing about me never getting lynched and never getting NKed is just me being a boss ass townie on top of it all.

I really think people misread what I'm trying to do. Just because I swear and I push something, doesn't mean I'm angry about it. I didn't like Red Ryu's gambit. I thought it was absolutely pointless and I wanted him to stop. There's literally that's all there is to it. I don't know why I'm being scrutinized for this. I'm being grilled over something so inane that It boggles my damn mind. What does it mind you that I didn't like RR's gambit, and I proceeded to push him on it? I want information. Pushing people is a means of doing that. I can get people to give me what I want. Is this clear?

Soup what are you trying to get out of us by playing like you are though? Even if you're not really angry, you are quite clearly deliberately overreacting. When I say "overreacting" I mean stuff like how you asked RR if he dropped something on his head. You didn't need to go out of your way to be antagonizing if you just wanted to point out that his gambit was nonsense, and yet you did. Why? I won't lie, it does seem staged. Like you're going out of your way to put yourself in a situation scum wouldn't want to put themselves in. Is it really so surprising that people are getting on your case when you yourself are overreacting to things?

I honestly am in a sore spot right now. Personally. I'm trying to use Mafia to get my mind off **** and try to calm down, but I'm not that adept with my emotions. I still believe however, that I am trying to reason with people. My venom and anger is indirect.

I wanted him to do more. I was trying to garner a read out of him, as a means of reacting with him and pushing him. That doesn't mean anything. It really doesn't. Why am I being treated like it's a criminal offense? Could I have just let him do his thing? Maybe. It didn't seem like he was doing anything with it and nobody believed him. His post on this game was the most insightful and constructive post I've seen in a very long time. People should aspire to be like him. He's town, and not just based on that. He's voting my scum-read, and I generally like his approach. I don't really want to think about the screenshot deal because I'm disregarding it completely.
