No parent johns Sup Dawg. I'm 14 AND my parents are asian and go to tournaments very frequently. :)
Just tell them "*****, I'm old enough to fend for myself. Let me do what I want." and you'll start getting more and more freedom.

I had no idea you were this brilliant! But wait... wouldn't that just piss them off? I've told them similar things in the past... did not go well. My mom is INCREDIBLY hard to convince. My dad is easier to deal with. But he's not around. Never is.

lol Sup Dawg, sorry we didn't get to play the other day. Until your parents get acclimated to you going to tourneys, homes n such, do you think it'd be easier for me to probably go to YOUR place? (I'm so desperate to play some Smash right now...almost like I am for a Klondike bar.)

Now my top three are my mains and the next five are my secondaries. I may use everyone, but these are the guys that stand out.

I'm got some good news! I talked it over with the folks and I am now able to attend tourneys! The only condition now, is that a tourney has to be within thirty minutes of drive time for me to be able to show up. Since you live around here, and have more experience with these types of things, I was hoping you could tell me about the next couple of tourneys we could go to. Would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Alright, so if Bardull is so scrubby it shouldn't be too hard for you to teach me how to get better than him.
Yes you are likely a better Marth, no, Bardull doesn't suck.

"Bardull sucks" is code name for "I think he's overrated cuz my Marth is better"
