Please update your sarcasm-o-meter.

Entering tournaments is basically gambling and don't give me that "I enter for fun" BS
I don't mind forking up five bucks to enter one. And by the way, I do prefer playing for fun versus playing for money. You will not change my mind. So go away.

He's sensible because you agree with him?
I agree with him more than I agree with you. And friends are good things to have. But only when their good people. You may hangout with whomever you like. It's your choice. And I choose to befriend those who understand me. If you do not, then I don't want to get to know you or anyone like you.

I will not mention how good I think I am again. Instead, I'll gladly accept your offer.
...but I only have five bucks...:(
$5 it is then. Hopefully I see you at Race's Smashtoberfest, a LOT of good people show up to all his events so that would be a perfect place for you to start.

You can find his thread in this Pac West forum.

By the way, for a 15 year old you're pretty sensible, I'll give you a break.

EDIT - Key words are "For a 15 year old"

Pretty close-minded and me-centric way to view things.

Good luck with that.

Well if you can get past that, you'll find I'm not such a bad guy. I'm sure your not either.

Hopefully I'll get to meet you. Then we could play some smash. What do you think?

He doesn't play brawl.
Well I'll still try my hand at Melee. It's been a while, so I probably suck now. I still know a thing or two though. Like wavedashing, L-cancelling, teching, edgehopping, etc. So I should do okay.

And sarcasm is difficult for me to recognize when it's been typed, not said.
So yeah, my sarcasm-o-meter is pretty low right now.:ohwell:

Sup Dawg, you play almost everyone but Peach? WTH IS WRONG WITH YOU.
It's true I almost never use her. But believe it or not, I'm not half-bad when I do. I already know how to float during any point of her jump, and I can even make her float along the ground. I also use her arials pretty effectively...

Know what? I'm adding her to my list. :)

Wow dude. I can't wait to see your Peach. I bet it's good.
If you are being sarcastic, then it depends. If your not, then it still depends. My friends all say that my Peach is surprisingly good and somewhat cheap. But most of them aren't that great at Brawl, so I can't really rely on they're advice. Against an experienced player, my Peach has enough skill to hold her own... but probably not for too long. I'll have to start using her in serious Brawls to find out.

Sup Dawg... your not good. End of story.
You don't know that. You've never seen me play. None of you have. I might be good, I might not be. YOU DON'T KNOW! I really do wish I could prove myself somehow. But my parents are not into the idea of me going anywhere just to play videogames with people I don't know. I hope you now understand my situation. I do not think I'm the best in the world. I just think I may have what it takes to compete against more experienced players. That's all!

Hahaha, Sup Dawg is so funny.

I was trying to help you out at first, but at this point you're just making a fool of yourself. You're not good. How do we all know this? Because we actually know what being good is; you don't since all you've played are your crappy friends. You think you do, but trust me, you can't fathom the difference in skill until you actually go to a tournament or play someone good. Until then, posting, "Well, I'm probably not good, but my friends think I am really good, but when I go to tournaments I might or might not do good, because beating my friends might not mean I'm good even though I think it does." Wtf? Just stfu, only talk **** if you're ACTUALLY GOING TO GO TO A TOURNAMENT. And yes, some newbie who hasn't played competitive smash saying he's even DECENT is construed as talking ****, because we know better.

Why do you think Kira offered to money match you? He's going to annihilate you and you think you have a chance because you don't know better. It's cool if you put your money up, but until you actually are prepared to play someone or go to a tournament, you need to be humble, because if you aren't, you will wish you were a couple of weeks from now when you get rocked.

...I understand everything now. You guys have years of experience. I don't. So everything you say is probably true, whether I like it or not. Thanks for clearing things up. I really appreciate it.

I'm just going to start small, a local tourney or two, a few five-dollar MMs. But hopefully with more practice, you'll be seeing me soon. :)

(if my parents don't mess things up for me)
