sakurai was having trouble with "dual" characters on the 3ds. He said ice climbers as an example, so people were afraid they'd be cut or only one would show up, but Rosalina's apperance has basically confirmed that they have solved the two character in one problem.

Ah yes, I went back and watched the trailer just now and it became obvious. I was looking for half a second of accidental IC footage, but now I get it.

But does Luma actually have independent AI? The problem with the Ice Climbers is that they both have their own AI, so the computer has to do twice as much to control them both. If Luma is completely controlled by Rosalina, then it's not quite the same as two separate characters.

Pic of the day. The ropes surrounding the ring. You can actually use the stretchiness of the ropes to do a spring jump. However, you can't pull on them to launch yourself sideways in a lariat attack though.

Nice little touch to the Boxing Ring Stage. If the ropes didn't bend or stretch, it'd really annoy me. I hate it when flimsy things in video games are unaffected by characters and objects.

Also, Zelda's worst taunt ever is back. Why is she even waving anyway...

For some reason, this alone gave me some more hope for Little Mac. Hope that is his stage.

Yep I always knew that move wasn't a taunt. I'm glad sakurai showed the difference finally. Though he's still messing around like usual and avoiding an explination.

Her pose in the initial character page matches her neutral a attack, and i don't think sakurai would recycle animations for a new moves.

I honestly think Sakurai is trying to throw us off. He's made numerous references to wrestling in pics, but did he ever directly address this stage as a wresting/boxing ring (internet halp)? He might be trying to make us think it's a wrestling ring so it doesn't give away Little Mac (even though we already deduced all the similarities to Mac's boxing ring).

Well, I personally have my doubts. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out either way. But I do like your rationale. It wouldn't be the first time Sakurai's trolled us like this. As someone who really wants to see Little Mac, I hope that's the case.

Of course, maybe he's just trying to throw us off so that he can use reverse-reverse psychology into making us think he's fooling us, so that we'll predict a Little Mac reveal, but in the end, we'll actually get Hawlucha. Yes! This must be the case. I will accept no other answer.

He's really not given out that much stage info in general this time 'round. Maybe a lot of stage aspects are going to remain secret to us until we actually play the game. But since he isn't opposed to revealing stage info like this after like half a year since the stage's reveal.........

Well, we've seen this stage for half a year and only now learn of something new about it.

It is a Wresting Ring. There was never any sufficient proof that alluded to the stage pertaining to Little Mac or boxing. Fabricated evidence, of course.
