Rosalina's reveal is freaking awesome. She's the perfect rep from Mario Galaxy as her moves are based around that game. I'm so pumped that she's in. In the last few years, Nintendo's original characters have lacked a story and lacked personality, but Rosalina is not one of them. I'm glad that the Luma is there too, anyone who watched her backstory in Galaxy know how special their bond is.
I can't wait to play as her, especially seeing as she has that badass Mewtwo glide-run!
I ain't even mad that for the next week we'll be bombarded with pics of her.
Anyone still think we'll get a Zelda reveal in a weeks time? Or will the next be on the 11th for Kirby Triple Deluxe?

could we potentially have a new newcomer reveal every month from here on out? I guess that depends on how late in 2014 the game is coming. but if it is like, August or September, i could see that. maybe one newcomer and one vet from here on out
I'm surprised Sakurai didn't show off the Ice Climbers first. I mean, it's the middle of December... Would've been the perfect time for them, with Rosalina opening up the New Year. Not complaining at all with what we have now tho
Not expecting any more big news for a while, probably not until we get a fixed release date. But for now, just going to enjoy more weekday pics of Luigi's nose.

There's 2 potential snapshots that are most likely to happen: Either another Rosalina pic, or a Kid Icarus related pic to celebrate the anniversary which is today (well in 1 hour for me) this time. But part of me thinks it will be something else.

I think if any kind of pattern it's going to be every second month, since that ties in with the general Directs. For example, we got Rosalina this month, then in January we get a Kirby character, then in February we get a newcomer (+Diddy Kong maybe), then in March we get a veteran, in April we get a newcomer, and so forth. In that way we'll likely still have a good chunk of unannounced unlockables too when the game releases. Just a theory though.
