We already discussed tomorrow's pic of the day. The Polar Bear massacres Zelda; probably for drugs, you know Polar Bear's and their ice. There isn't much else to say. It is much funnier to laugh at the misery of others.

First the Boomerang, then the Blue Tortoise Shell; now this?! I expect the Piranha Plant next; probably closer to Mario Kart's release date, it would be a cool pic of the day.

Something I noticed is that there's a tiny little arrow above the Bullet Bill, pointing to it. I suppose it's there to indicate that it's an item. Did that arrow appear in previous Smash games? I feel like it might have been in 64 but I'm not sure.

It was in 64 but not Melee and Brawl.

Well at least it was a fairly innocuous pick they flashed us with. Can you imagine if it was a picture of like Ridley on Pyrosphere, or a requested character looking ambiguously maybe assist trophy maybe playable? And they were like "lol nope take it down" and people were like "Did you just see that!? Am I going crazy!? Did that just happen!? What just happened!?!?!?!?!?". /riots in the streets.

No, we saw the Polar Bear in the batches of the hundreds of Pictures after the Direct. But this would be the first time Sakurai would bring it up.

As you said, that's terribly unlikely. From what we've seen so far, all the enemies represent franchises that have playable representation so unless something comes up from something that's already been disconfirmed like Dillon's Rolling Western or Sin and Punishment, I'd say the Ice Climbers are essentially a lock to return.
