Too bad none of those will be alternate costumes.

Man, I really hope he doesn't spend weeks upon weeks talking about the press release stuff. Is this directly from the press release? Maybe that's what he'll do next week.
It looks like it was taken directly from the Direct, but I guess it will look exactly like that in game.Is this directly from the press release? Maybe that's what he'll do next week.
Gameplay-wise, Mario and Dr. Mario are as different Jigglypuff and Kirby from the first game(actually, even more different). There's no point in having him if he is just a lame costume. Either go all out(like he did with Melee), or why bother? Just a waste without the Melee-style moveset. With Zelda and Sheik separate, there's zero reason for Dr. Mario to be anything but separated in some way.I personally would be fine with them not changing fire balls to pills and stuff, I mean, I accept Dr. Mario is basically just Mario putting on a doctor's coat, but really, changing fire balls to pills and having them have the same hitbox and everything shouldn't be that hard. I have faith that they can do it. I just worry they'll give him some other outfit, like... I dunno, Propeller Suit for example, cause they think it'll be more popular, but I really want Dr. Mario just cause it'll feel nostalgic to see him back from Melee.
Thats actually really cool, I like it. Speaking of, I am waaaayy more into the theme for this game than Brawls.Yeah, well maybe we could get a kind of variation of the original Super Smash Bros, where silhouettes are filled in, but instead we get sort of an extra or variant scene with secret characters approaching. Like when you first play the game theres a clip of Fox flying by in an arwing with a little thumbs up or whatever, but then when you unlock all the characters the scene changes to Fox about to strike his pose when Falco flies in with his own arwing and upstages him with his own pose, and then they both get shot at by Wolf a bit. Ehh?
Yep. I know not everybody can view a video.Wow, its nothing.
Is the website just for people who didn't catch the direct now or what?
The theme as in the music or atmosphere? Or both? Cause I'm with ya either way.Thats actually really cool, I like it. Speaking of, I am waaayy more into the theme for this game than Brawls.
EDIT: Really? Megamans FS? We literally saw this in the direct AND the press release. God dammit.
Well specifically I meant the opening musical theme but yeah I agree wholeheartedly xDD Not to mention how many iterations of the damn Brawl theme there were it was practically being hammered into my head like "DO YOU GET THAT BRAWL IS EPIC YET??" The song and overall themes and presentation of the game never really impressed me much after the initial high. I can agree that Melees atmosphere and presentation felt eons better than Brawl. Hell honestly 64 felt better overall to me than Brawl. The theme as in the music or atmosphere? Or both? Cause I'm with ya either way.
I really didn't like Brawl's chorus singing and orchestration, when Melee set up this really...REALLY awesome strange mysterious and timeless atmosphere. Even after I unlocked everything, no, even to this day I feel like anything is possible and there are still secrets to be uncovered. Best track that encapsulates the atmosphere for me is Multi-Man Melee 1, which I beg returns for Smash4. I've been pondering just why I like Melee's atmosphere so much more than Brawls for a long time and it seems kind of clear when I listen to both games' iterations of the track "Menu 2". The change is subtle...but it means a lot to me :o I wonder if anyone else feels the same?
On another note. Megaman Final Smash? Yes, it's amazing, but um, we've seen it. Really? No Ice Climbers? Well then I really don't know when we can expect them to be revealed! Just thrown in during E3 with Newcomers getting way more attention? I really thought this week would be the climbers' moment to shine! Oh well.
Probably in the dumpster with all the other unfortunate, overlooked and dead franchises like F-Zero. ¦DFiller again. C'mon Sakurai, where are you hiding our Ice Climbers.
The Star Fox crew are on their way to that dumpster too.Probably in the dumpster with all the other unfortunate, overlooked and dead franchises like F-Zero. ¦D
Ice Climbers have been cut.Filler again. C'mon Sakurai, where are you hiding our Ice Climbers.
This always remind me of a dual crush attack in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin called the "Greatest Five."Best keep your fingers crossed on this one then.
Edit: Pic is up.
How can you be on the way there when youve already been there for years? The Star Fox crew are on their way to that dumpster too.
if he going to post stuff like this he can go ahead and do golden week, I can get the info by rematching the direct, so much for building the hype it seems like there purposely sabotaging the hype.Well on the bright side, he doesn't say anything about Goldenweek.
Even if he only covers stuff from the direct and the press kits, he'll eventually have to cover the new Final Smashes, the Mega Evolutions, the new items we don't know much about, the new Assist Trophies and Pokeball Pokemon... And I'm sure that a veteran will come soon.if he going to post stuff like this he can go ahead and do golden week, I can get the info by rematching the direct, so much for building the hype it seems like there purposely sabotaging the hype.
Their remake began pulling them out, and left them on the dangling. I think Star Fox still has a chance of another game. The Wii U is the perfect console for it. But then, Nintendo wouldn't want to please their fans, would they? How can you be on the way there when youve already been there for years?
We get it, you hate Sakurai and Smash sucks now.if he going to post stuff like this he can go ahead and do golden week, I can get the info by rematching the direct, so much for building the hype it seems like there purposely sabotaging the hype.
We got Balloon Fight and Kalos League for new stages, and Kongo Jungle (or was thus Jungle Japes? I mix them up) and Halberd for retro stages. So, we got four stages from the Direct, which is good. ^^ But there's still a LOT of stages to be seen. We need new DK, Kirby, StarFox, F-Zero, Sonic, MegaMan, Ice Climbers, FE, etc stages on either one or both the versions.I hoped to get some more stages from the Direct, so hopefully pics of the day will show a couple of them before E3.
I expected 10 circa all in all to be honest. We got 5 characters and only 4 stages, two of which are returning... Seems pretty unbalanced to meWe got Balloon Fight and Kalos League for new stages, and Kongo Jungle (or was thus Jungle Japes? I mix them up) and Halberd for retro stages. Well, it makes sense to not reveal that many stages already. People are more hyped for characters, so keeping more stages hidden works. Plus, many franchises hasn't been revealed yet, and it would be odd to see, like, a Ice Climbers stage Before the Climbers.I expected 10 circa all in all to be honest.
