I'm honestly not even sure how people can be complaining about anything we get after that Direct... The Diect gave us a plethora of information/pics that couldn't be covered by hundreds of "Pic of the Days."
Captain Rainbow to take over Ganondorf's old move set, except with rainbows. And also YoYos or whatever.
One problem with that theory
What's even more amusing is seeing the world's greatest bounty hunter take on the universe's most beautiful guardian. Of course, while we did get a screenshot depicting that scenario, it's not pic of the day material.
Character or costume?
Character. Pretty much Melee's Doc, but with a unique Up Smash, and his Melee Back Air. And a Epic Final Smash~
Normally I'd agree, but geez, the Wii U eShop front page is literally plastered with NES Remix 2 ads. It's everywhere.
I agree. I think 5 in one month is plenty. Plus, if the game is releasing in summer, it'll probably be late summer, like how Mario Kart is the last day of Q1 when a Spring release was promised. So if it is released in August (my guess) then we need the few default veterans to last us a while. Though, we could get older unlockable vets like G&W considering we got Toon Link, Marth, and Lucario. Who knows really. But i'm still betting on no new characters for the rest of the month. That being said, i'd love to be proven wrong...
I believe it was released in Japan today, and we all know that's the country which gets priority! Not only that, but I think a retail edition of NES Remix 1 + 2 was also released in Japan today. So I think today would have been the day for Ice Climbers (or someone else). But I guess tomorrow is up there too (NA and EU releases)... just wouldn't count on it hehe.

We may know the full starting roster, but I think unlockables will have to wait till release.I for one also believe we may not get any more characters until E3. At that time they might just go balls to the wall and announce the rest of the roster there. Or just not do that and let us figure out who's in and who isn't once the game releases. But that wouldn't generate any hype now would it?

I say Meta Knight for the north american release of kirby triple deluxe has a pretty good chance of happening. Other then that though, I think we'll have to wait until e3.I for one also believe we may not get any more characters until E3. Agreed. Hype certainly shouldn't be overdone it. But it does have to balanced. I think Sakurai is good with this despite what most people think.
AHAHAHHAHA. Good, you people will be patient and you'll like it. We'll get a character reveal around the 8th or 9th in May, a month after the Direct. So sit tight and enjoy the nice pictures from Mr. Mashedpotatoes Samurai.

Me too actually. I don't mind going over the content from the direct, but when it's already been discussed, then I don't really see a point by showing it off again. That doesn't mean the pictures are bad, but for me they're quite boring and more of, "Eh, already knew/saw this."
With the 3DS version coming out before, i dont think they will hold back on the big trailers when there is hype to be had. I also dont think any characters will be hidden from us this time, unlockable in game sure, but not completely hidden like they were on the brawl site.
Meta Knight depends on two things in my opinion.
