Pic of the day. Yoshi's Egg Throw now leaves a rainbow trail, and we've improved the pose Samus strikes when she fires the Paralyzer. Every staff member is working hard as we brush up whatever we can.

Sakurai said that, now that Yoshi stands straight, he is much stronger. That's most likely his way of saying that Yoshi is overall buffed now. ^^

And really, so far, this game looks very balanced, with all characters looking OP instead of just MetaKnight. And that's awesome. Can't wait to see Bowser Top Tier, hehe.

At first, after seeing this update, I thought that the rainbow that's over Peach was made by Egg Throw, but based on Yoshi's screenshots, the egg has to be making contact with the rainbow during the animation.

It doesn't help people keep asking his status. Only to be told(correctly) it's still unknown. Too many trolls keep taking the "hints" as some kind of fact instead of just waiting for him to be properly confirmed. I'm being harassed by a jerk user named andrew about it at the moment. I'm ignoring any of his stupid "will not be in" and crap like that. But creating pictures to mock me? Easily reported. Guy's just a lame troll that can't accept that it might not be what he assumes it is. I'm definitely neutral on his status, leaning towards a Stage Hazard due to the hints. But I also know that being a stage hazard doesn't bar him from being playable either. At least most of the time people have dropped the false "too big" stuff. It does help that Sakurai outright said the only issue with him being playable is he might be too slow.

Well, since we didn't get ICs today, I'm going to expect a random reveal in May. I doubt we'll get anything for a US release of Kirby Triple Deluxe, but I also don't think they'd wait until the end of May for Mario Kart since then E3 is quite close.

I get the strong feeling that we're only going to see character reveals from now on in Directs. With the 3DS version most likely due out in August, that means that those remaining in the starting roster will probably be divided between E3 and a prerelease Smash Direct in August.

We might get one last one this month. I do wonder if he'll reveal the whole roster before 3DS release, though. I'm glad he's concentrating on a lot of 3DS stuff since the release is sooner than the Wii U version. Then again, it's common sense to do so.

Yeah, I don't think Sakurai is as concerned this time around with reveal hidden content. I mean, the hype some of the newcomers have caused is better than the hype that would hit if we discovered them on release.

Obviously there'll still be some stuff hidden though.

I think we'll still get character reveals up until E3. If there's a demo, I'd like to think Wario is included. E3 will be awesome though. I had a dream there were seven character announcements, new and old. Although, in the end, I think it will be less than the five the Direct showed, seeing as they won't discuss it as long. We'll probably see another three, hopefully newcomers.
