Why would they bother? Why... to give us something new to play around with for the next 5 years.
Eh, I'm more of a Squirtle man myself...Out of the three, I've got to go with charizard being the best. He's damaging and can pull off kills. Plus he's not the slowest heavy char around

I just prefer how he is (I prefer lightweight characters).

Yeah, lightweights are the best. I prefer kirby over squirtle though. Kirby is easier to pressure people with, plus his recovery is godly. And, I like his kill options better.

Oh, no, absolutely not. I rarely play the Pokemon Trainer in fact. But I'm pretty sure people loves to play as charizard, and his moveset wouldn't really work with Delphox. Same logic applies to Ivysaur and Chespin's evolutions, or Squirtle and Froakie, althought I think their B moves could be transcribed well.
Well, we could get one Pokemon related next week.
I can see PKMN Trainer being revealed next week with Trozei coming out and all. Though it's killing me to not see Mewtwo yet. I think we may see a Pokeball Pokemon today or possible an Assist Trophy. I have a good feeling towards Yoshi tomorrow though. I wanna see some green on mah screen.
Honestly, Mewtwo might be reserved for something bigger.
And hopefully all the "Yoshis cut!" jokes will die off.

I'm not sure. I feel we'll get another character this month, too. Of course, patterns are made to be broken in Sakurai's eyes, so the whole "2 a month" could be thrown out the window.

They might not show yoshi stuff until they show yoshi. I mean, little mac and rosalina stages were unspecified before the characters were released. If it's not Yoshi himself, it won't be yoshi at all.
Or, it could be a reveal. Just a day late.
Considering how much attention Yoshi new Island received in the previous directs, I don't think it's impossible to get Yoshi tomorrow. I think it is fairly likely and I am banking on him being revealed.
I think the issue here is NA as opposed to JP reveal.
So, I guess we're in a stalemate.
I still believe we will see something Thursday or Friday. I'm also keeping an eye on next Thursday for Island Tour in Japan.
The Diddy, Little Mac, and Zelda reveals certainly make it hard to pinpoint if we will get a Yoshi reveal tomorrow since there is no clear pattern (and patterns do not exist lol). However, my only concern that there hasn't been a Japanese reveal date announced outside of Summer 2014.
One could argue why wait so long to reveal Wario when we know Wario content is already in the game.
