If some of these characters never make the cut as playable, I have some ideas that I hope will happen during the DLC hype train:

Also wanted to note that the Mii Hats being the character's actual head, like Sans for example, works so much better than getting those character themed hats (Morgana, Isabelle, K.K. Slider, Flying Man, Tails, Knuckles and etc). Some of them work really well like Spring-Man, Cappy one and Chain Chomp, but I would rather have the character's head as a Mii Hat, as far as non-human characters go.

I don't expect any indies to get in as actual fighters, but winks and nods to the indie scene with stuff like this, Assist Trophies, or even just regular Trophies seems at least a bit possible.

Looks like we got 1 of these with Shantae! Maybe Shovel Knight mii in CP11…???
