I only used Meta once, in doubles, the entire tournament; the rest was straight ROB.

Also, I hate how we managed to have a zillion metaknights lined up to play me. :\

I think I will have to join them >:|

I have 36 or 38, depending on what place I got yesterday, so am 2-4 points behind you. Anther got na extra 30, so that tacks onto whatever place he got before, so unless he got 5th at the first circuit event, I think you are.

Well you gotta go through Indiana and Illinois to get to St. Louis.

But I could plan on getting a Circuit Tourney going around November prolly about a week before Thanksgiving if you guys want to have this happen.

MuBa, we discussed and voted a couple months ago and came to the conclusion that the Midwest was too huge to have one giant circuit. The result is having the Midwest divided into East and West divisions. I was set in charge of the Eastern events and 18 spikes for the West. I don't know exactly what happened with the West, but it doesn't look like it's happening.

Just because it isn't a circuit doesn't mean people wouldn't come. If there's a big potential turnout I'm sure my crew would be willing to attend.

From my knowledge most West part of Midwest prefers Melee over Brawl. So there will be most likely no Circuit events over here.

But like you said just because it isn't a circuit even people wouldn't come to the tournament. But I'll ask some of the people who actually likes Brawl to see what they think about having one in November.

One point, and not tied-for-last in doubles? Hellz yea I rock! I think. Maybe.

Winona Lake isn't even near South Bend, BTW. (EDIT: v--- Okay, it's not that far from it but still.) I assume WTON is at the former and not the latter since that's what the actual topic for the tournament says, but since they're about an hour away from each other it can't hurt to make sure. :/ We don't want any confusion.

...Where do they even get off calling a city at the top of the state "South" anyway? That's like Upper Sandusky here being an hour south of real Sandusky. Maybe it has to do with being on the "south bend" of the lake there.

Also, I hate how we managed to have a zillion metaknights lined up to play me. :\

I'm telling you, DK or Yoshi! You'd have the advantage of being familiar with an unfamiliar matchup for them too, unlike an MK ditto.

Yeah, I could never figure out why Upper Sandusky is south of Sandusky.

Actually, Winona Lake is little less than an hour from SB. I can easily get there in 40-45 minutes. And yes, the first post here is wrong, the title on my thread is correct.

Are there anymore tournaments schduled to be part of this?
I could host one if you guys want.
It would be in Springfield, IL.

Hmmm...would anyone be interested if I were to host a Brawl Circuit tourney in St. Louis (Around November?)
Yeah, I'd be interested. I missed out on WTON, gotta make up for it. :)

I'm guessing Me + Anther are first in doubles.

also, is the next one going to be here in Ann Arbor (run by 5th column, seeing as how they said they'd do it).

I doubt it. They're not on the main page anymore and almost all of them have dropped out and have not even started their tournaments up again. I'm skeptical at best =(

I would take a wild stab at that the next one is going to be in Ohio anyway, since they have not held one yet (cough, cough, Cincy)

We have the ability to hold a pretty big tourney here in KC. It is the same venue that the big melee tourney is going to be at. we can hold somewhere around 300 people. we are also open for being apart of the circuit.

I'd say the only problem with Kansas City is that it's not Midwest East, but I don't think there is a Midwest West, so, I'd leave it up to Mr. Kel. (that's right, Mr. Kel), and it would be a good 5-10 hour drive for most.

Does OS not live in the Cinci/Louisville area? :S

I wouldn't be against going to South Bend if I had to, never been there before for a tourney but I know that it has hosted many...

I would've held WTON in South Bend if people around here would've taken me more seriously. But it was nice that we did hold it in Warsaw, mainly due to low venue fees. If it was here, venue fees might've been higher, depending on the venue, except for the FC church, which was $100, but they no longer allow me to hold tournaments at the church.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, wonder if anyone in Wisconsin would hold something? (looking at KishSquared)

So does that mean that October's circuit event could be held in South Bend?

Isn't there supposed to be one circuit event a month? :(

Kel is trying for an Ohio event, since they have not had one yet.

I wouldn't mind holding another event, but I'd rather hold in November then, gives me some time to plan, search out venues, etc. But October will most likely be in Ohio.
