Wasn't it Dimensional Infinite Cape of the Knight or something? Anyway, D.I.C.K. really makes sense, and it has the benefit of being able to tell someone who's stalling to stop D.I.C.K'ing around.
why ghosting? and D.I.C.K. is more commonly used.how many people call it ghosting?

there is nothing wrong with D.I.C.K.
It's pretty easily explained, and honestly shouldn't really be offensive to anyone over the age of 7 anyways.

Haha, by no means. I'm just saying that, all things considered, **** is not a particularly offensive word. This particular acronym is just intended to be a bit of harmless fun, and as it isn't directed at anyone or anything as an insult, shouldn't be taken as offensive.

The thing is, D.I.C.K is funny, and sums up the general hatred that many people feel about this technique.
It also suits Metaknight, who is a very cheap and annoying character, to have an AT with a name as obnoxious as D.I.C.K.

when, exactly, was this tech declared "ghosting" in the first place? As I recall, D.I.C.K. was suggested somewhere on page 30'ish.
