Gecko won't boot burned discs without super-extensive cIOS hacking, so that's probably your problem. You need to launch the game through GC Boot or Neogamma (I believe also works?).hey...
off topic...
I'm trying to get melee to work in gecko like brawl does...
but I'm having a few probs...
has anyone already gotten this to work before me??
and if so, how??
if not then nvm...
The cloud just automatically has that cruddy look even in the actual game there is an outline of blue lol.I think that nimbus is actually just a photoshop, but the falco is sweet regardless! deku you should so do captain piccolo
You pretty much HAVE to burn a disc. There's only one way on the wii to use a gamecube iso file in raw form, and it's called WODE and you have to buy it over the Internet and then open up your wii to hook it up.burned disks... WTFr...
I've read somewhere there's a way to do it from the original game...
with files on your SD...
but they didn't give instr on how, or a link...
that's what I was asking for :/
Fix'd for ya :Dnow thats two vote for captain piccolo
... O:Hello.
will upload it when I get home, don't get confused when you just see the same screen, I made a video showing the same picture. But you can probably just test it with your opening video, since I got the same error. IIRC it also happened when replacing the htp movie with the original opening, maybe it's just not possible =/1) smakis, throw me your mth so i can take a look at it.
have you even looked at Gecko OS mod1) smakis, throw me your mth so i can take a look at it.
2) Tcll, please don't use ellipses to elongate your sentences. end them with a period. it's one fewer input and it makes you not sound like an old man (no offense to the elderly)
tcll, you are either
1) trying to load melee via sd, which is not possible
2) trying to load GC-AR via gecko, which is possible, then running melee
if you want to run GC AR with gecko and such you can ask FrozenHobo about it, as he has it working. i'm not too knowledgeable about this.
phantom wings probably wouldn't be able to easily switch his code over to melee, but if yo ucould get him interested in melee hacking that would be great.
http://vggtsworld.ta-host.com/where/wiird/gamecube_codes_with_geckoos.htmhave you even looked at Gecko OS mod
that's exactly what it's supposed to do
and sry for the ellipses
just a habit
KK thanx...http://vggtsworld.ta-host.com/where/wiird/gamecube_codes_with_geckoos.htm
you mean that?
yes, that's what i said. frozenhobo has it working. you can probably ask him for help
yes, they are all textures. i mentioned this in my video tutorials, but it was brief.hum, it seem's that htp is not only a video, the text, arrows on stuff on screen isnt part of the movie (it doesn't show up when I play the original how to play video in mth_play)
Which character/stage/thing were you trying to edit? If it's something that hasn't been packaged on Page 4 yet (like Red Sheik), note that you can't use the same texture placements for each costume -- nearly every character has different placements for their stuff.EDIT: ok i thought that i might have done it right, it spat out a .tcs but when i changed the texture and applied the tpl to the dat and put the dat onto the iso i think something got messed up along the way. every time i try to use that character (fox) the dolphin just freezes and won't load the fight
That's the problem right there. You cannot rename .DAT files to other .DAT files; for some reason, it just doesn't work that way. If you want to create a texture on a particular color, you MUST choose your color first -- so, in other words, you need to rehex everything you put into that PlFxNr.dat into an actual PlFxLa.dat. Very inconvenient, but until there's some other method made, it's the only thing we can do. >:PLfxNr.dat i renamed it PlFxLa.dat
SSM stuff?I know how you feel Deku. I'm going through similar headaches with the music hax.
