hey idk where to ask this question so I thought this thread would be appropriate...
how do I play PAL version Melee on my NTSC wii without the screen going splitting weirdly and going black/white? the bottom half of the screen (that shows percents) is up at the top of the screen.
Oh yeah !!And, I'm officially back in the hacking business for the summer :D.
I havent updated the Audio topic since February, March doesnt count.I'm contemplating a consolidated page with links for all non-Stack Smash textures here on SWF. A lot of people have been asking for textures whose links are either gone, or hard to find. It'd be nice to have them all in one place, like what Tichinde925 did for the music hacks. What are your thoughts, people?
Without all the intellectual posting on the first page of this thread. This sums up a **** load of it for me. Though, I did get some look into the "how to" videos that are posted up on youtube. Also, with SleepyK's preset up ISO hack. It does save you a lot of time if you're in just a rush to have a quick copy made to be played.nothing hard about it, download sleepy's iso, download a ntsc 1.2 iso, extract both, replace all soundfiles on the ntsc 1.2 with sleepy's iso's soundfiles.
your post has to have more characters than your signature for it to show upDidn't work that time either?
Oh well, here it is anyway:
KirbyTool - replace Melee textures (if the link is down, try this)
EDIT: Wait. Now I'm confused. Why did it show this time?
You can just download the 1.2 iso and extract the nana AI file if you know which it isI COULD, but i'd rather have the master do it
HelioHost site is back up, libertyernie. (:Since HelioHost is down, I added an alternate download for KirbyTool in my sig.
You say Mario and the CSS have no Indexed textures, yet, they do. Mario's eyes are _9 textured, as are the CSS and applied transparency (all of which are 32 lines). The only character that doesn't from KirbyTool is Pichu... All others have some form of Indexing applied: Kirby with eyes; Jiggs with eyes; Link with eyes and some accessories; all Mario eyes; all CSS.2. See INDEXING.txt. Many characters have indexed textures. (Mario and Pichu do not; neither does the CSS.)
