Raz is mirroring my thoughts, talking about it with gheb, and our conclusion is this.


Circus tends to go for inactive lynches according to gheb, so if he was trying to play town-circus there was no reason for him to do this and push this hard against a null. Even with a townflip on boat the interaction would look really bad.

He had to either be making a naked mistake (because the entire thing caught scum offguard) or he had to have an objective in mind.

As a naked mistake, it makes no sense to push against a town-lynch.

As having an objective in mind, technically he could be trying to set up for a mislynch of boat in the future, but WHY? Pretty much anyone would be willing to lynch boat, there's no real incentive to set up for a future mislynch, especially since he had no reason to believe he would die that soon.

That leaves protecting him.


Keep in mind, we totally caught scum offguard with this entire thing, they expected me to die and I think that circus didn't get enough of a chance to adequately react and made a mistake.

Scumslip?

It's a scumslip because you called me a mislynch but I'm not dumb enough to push you for that.

And it's not just about saying "Yeah I'll lynch boat," it's about saying "If boat is still here at Day X then we need to policy lynch him."

Besides, the reason for my scumminess before was my inactivity and ryker's picture posting right? I don't see either of those now.

I also don't like this, why are they saying that calling boat a mislynch in a scenario that assumes he's town trying to be mislynched by scum a scumslip?

Furthermore, why aren't they pursuing it?

Because you have no idea if JTB is scum or not and I doubt you're going to get much more information from Raziek or Tery given your current approach of "no, you're wrong! I'm not scum!" being played on loop from a vintage record player with an ugly olive color that contrasts with the bright orange and black or the record in question.

I'm claiming it now because we get more information out of knowing that I was the target than I am risking by claiming, plain and simple. I thought about it for a bit, did a cost benefit analysis, and figured it's better for the town to know that I was targeted for one, and that the scum didn't just no kill, AND that this game isn't a cultist centric or other recruiting style game like OS and suggested earlier.

Doing some work but I'll *sigh* look at Boat, but don't expect some heavenly revelation.

Circus was just being a "bad" player IMO. I saw the opportunistic attempts in his posts so I disregarded his case, since I saw no point to it. Eventually when the pressure started to combine against him he really started trying to push for my lynch over his--and his posts degraded with that--"How are you not dead?" etc. etc.
