I know everyone's excited to be in an OS game and not be vanilla, but jesus, stop claiming. Scum doesn't need to know any of this.

I viewed my role as a Miller, and so I'd rather out it now than have it potentially come up later and cause a mess of problems.

Explain this to me. How are you going to make sure scum hammers you now that they know doing so will kill them? From what I can tell, this doesn't open up any "tactical advantages" to you; it just gives everyone incentive not to lynch you.

I've seen people attempt to use a role like this as a threat--you make a player you think is scum be the one to hammer in the event the player isn't lying. Either they do it, and it's a 1-for-1 trade or they don't, and you can lynch them as a result of their failure to cooperate.

It's not perfect, no, but it's something.

No I don't really think Kantrip is scum. Rake's pressure game is usually, and this game is no exception, terrible and I feel like it only ever works because of how ridiculous it is that he even does it in the first place. That being said, I don't have a read on Kantrip, surprise surprise. I think you're doing a fabulous job of disrupting the flow of what could have been very solid pressure to garner reads on players because... you think he knows you're town? Why, as a townie, wouldn't you just let it be especially seeing how we've only been in this game for a staggering four hours.

No Rake's case actually sucked and Raz actually felt like it'd do nothing but slow the game down, and honestly, even if Kantrip is scum, where the hell would that DAUNTING case go? Kantrip would probably say no you're wrong and move on with his life like any smart person when presented with a Rake case. Agreed on the latter doe.

This is what I keep coming back to and I damn well don't like it. Sure, Rake may not make the greatest of cases nor be the biggest of threats but it's not like anyone else was offering any valid suggestion and Rake actually felt like he had something, no matter how solid it was at this point in the game. I see no reason to shut it down, even if you personally disagreed with it (for the most bogus of reasons I might add).
