Hey, TBush, while playing around with the working Moonview Highway PAC you sent me, I noticed that when I try to take photos via Brawl's snapshot taker, every texture (except the LED texture, for some reason) doesn't want to show up in the pictures. Might be related to why you can't scale, rotate or translate it.
Yeah, I had noticed that, which is why I was taking pictures using my capture card instead of uploading in-game screenshots. I believe it's a conflict in the material properties, which I'll be looking into sometime soon.
so.... is it also possible to load the model animations also into brawl? Like loading zero into brawl within all his animations?
Seems like Tatsunoko vs. Capcom doesn't use CHR0 for the animations, so all animations will have to be done by hand. =/
If Godzilla: Unleashed uses mdl0, I call dibs on Godzilla.
No offense to anyone here, but I'm probably the biggest Godzilla fan in the Smash Workshop subforum. Which is why I think I would be the best to work with the Big G.
Godzilla: Unleashed doesn't use MDL0s. I checked it a while back. Sorry.
Also, couldn't you just texture hack the character to fix the ''buttered'' problem?
That problem's related to the material properties and the specular textures. I'll look into it.
Also, I wanted to ask, does anyone know how I can fix the texture of the Naruto model?
It only acts normal on some stages (Battlefield, Smashville), but on others it looks disordered, like metal (Final Destination) or the colors are moving (Delfino Plaza).
Hey RandomTBush, how did you fix the texture problem? (Where the texture isn't displayed at all, not where it is mapped improperly.

Tbush I've got one question, How do you extract the brres files in TOS inside the bin cause I can see it with a hex editor but I can't do nothing more and I want to test out the others characthers.
If you can help me out be I'll be so happy.

From the file I was sent, it seems that all you have to do is delete a whole bunch of bytes from the beginning of the BIN file until it starts with "bres". Then you'd start doing the other fixes. However, ToS:DotNW seems to have another error, related to the bone structure, so it might not even work in Brawl without being fixed.

Basically, you have to re-write every single header after you insert new data. However, I can't guarantee that it'll work that way, because it didn't seem to work for Jigglypuff when I re-built its MDL0. There's something else that I need to do...
And as for the texturing problem with the FMA models, try it out in-game and see how it looks.
Hmm, I made the rim_t texture transparent, an in-game, Zero steals any nearby texture, and on certain animations, such as touching the ground, he changes into these giant glitches of textures and lags the game. Plus, his Z-Saber is always out, or is that a PSA effect? Or maybe both. o.o
Lagging the game? I never had that happen to me. Then again, I haven't tried too many different things.
Anyone want to try editing the size of fitsoandsoSHD.mdl0 to try and get collisions working?
Sounds like a plausable idea, unless the collisions are stored elsewhere. I really haven't tried modifying them yet.

Alright, so obviously Shyguy from the Winter games isn't going to work. Fine then, there are a few other games that I could probably nab him from. Still though, I have no idea how to get and or open these files... Can anyone help me out here.

I think Mario Kart Wii might be the only other choice you have there. Mario Super Sluggers has everything all in one file, and I didn't notice anything related to MDL0s in it. You don't want the Mario Strikers one, but it might not have MDL0s anyway (I haven't checked). I doubt Mario Party 8 has MDL0s, but I haven't checked that one either.
