I know the feeling, but you should still come! Smash events are more fun to attend so long as you don't let losing bother you. I actually have had a lot more fun at the last few tournaments I attended because I didn't feel bad when I lost. Instead I just saw it as an opportunity to learn more about how the game has changed. I'm not as good as I used to be, but I don't think I have gotten that much worse. It is more the fact that everyone else has just gotten much better since early 2006. I really like this fact though, because it has allowed me to see how a game continues to evolve as time passes. As Dave (Zoso) has said, even the random players of today would have won the Game Over tournament if they could enter now. I agree with him entirely.

Are any of the RIers going to this that I might be able to get a ride with? I'll naturally pay gas money. I didn't think I'd be attending any more matches cause brawl was so close around the corner, but this sounds like a lot of fun and I don't want to miss it. Plus I'd get to see everyone again which would be great.

Can we have a Falcon crew draft?

I'm not going to be able to MM anyone now, because my mom doesn't like betting on games. I'll be able to do it once I'm 16 and get my own car, but until then, I can't. I'll still be able to get there early and do the matches, but no money involved. Sorry.
