Marth's Possible New Look?

Hey, do you think Marth has a chance of getting a new design in the next SSB? The new look I'm talking about is the one from Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, the newest Fire Emblem coming for the DS soon. Personally, I think Marth looking like that would be pretty sweet since he didn't change his looks AT ALL (or the changes were almost too minuscule to notice) from Melee to Brawl. It would also put an end to any certain *cough*homosexual/nanny boy*cough* comments about him. Ah... what a pimp he would be.

Yeah, that's what I thought. He looks more like Ike who, uh, wasn't a prince? I dunno, but either way he looks more like a vagabond or a mercenary.

^That last picture of marth truly proves that tiara > headband in terms of kickassness. For some reason I get a Breath of Fire vibe from that picture (im probably thinking about Ryu but w/e). In any event, whatever look marth ends up with will likely do him some justice.

On topic: I honestly don't care, though I think what makes Marth different, and it feels good to own someone with a 'princess'. He would look badass though.

With this new look, we can say that Marth is manly with a tiara. Not even Falcon could beat that!

Yes, but Marth doesn't need a constant erect body part to make a point. Nor does he have to shout "Falcon Pawwwwwnch".
Marth doesn't care about 'Your moves", He will own you regardless.
So Falcon can have all the nipples he wants, but once you get down to it, he has nothing on Marth.

To say that marth needs to keep his prince look and that the picture is a warrior looks is stupid. Marth and all the other Fire Emblem main characters, are all lords (by class and title) and at the same time warriors. THey are not one or the other. Marth is a princely warrior fighting for a good cause and I think a delicate balance could be achieved. Lose the lady-like movement, and the tiara and I would be satisfied.

BOF = Most overlooked Squaresoft (Square-Enix now) game ever. Ryu would have been awesome in brawl (hes like link+marth because he has a sword AND boomerang). Seeing him turn into Rudra for his final smash would be epic win on multiple levels.

More on topic: It would be funny if they let you equip marth with different tiaras, but the problem would be that it would mean marth could go tiaraless and i dont think that would be good for the universe.

Mix them I say. Get rid of his mantle and shorten his hair a bit, merge the headband/tiara but keep Falchion like it is in Brawl.

The first time I saw his FESD artwork, I was like... "Who the hell is that?"

I dont like it, he needs to keep his current SSB look IMO. Same goes for Falchion.

Oh you mean that one. That alt color is just the colors of his former look in his original game. It has nothing to do with this... remaked look. (Tho they apparently used this for a base).

Yes but FEDS IS a remake of the original game and there are only a few large differences so it can be looked at in the same way...

and yeah smash design > all the others.

yea smash design is better. I dont really like the art style, it seems different than the other FE games.
Plus he looks more like Eliwood in those pictures.
