NEw Mario kart Wii tourney

Yep, check it out. I realized Jigglymaster's had an awesome ruleset that looked great on paper, but too many things could potentially go wrong while doing it. So this one is just going to be classic 1 vs 1.

So this next tournament involves going around Mushroom Gorge backwards. Looks like Funky Kong will be at it again (as usual).

I did some experimenting backwards on Mushroom George with Funky in the Aero Glider yesterday. Result?

If you time a shroom well, you can shroom through the bridge, land on the lower mushroom (can't get to the closer, taller mushroom, it'd be impractical and a waste of time anyways), bounce and do a trick, and land on the track. It's a pain to do though, and the only reason it'd be mildly useful would be that you can't do the regular gap jump at the U-Turn, AND you can mushroom through the bridge and still have it work if you time it right.

Oh, and this game is fun. Love it!

P.S. I'll be editing in my FC soon if anyone wants to add me. Winning by a mile against people with 7.5K+ VR with BIRDO on the DOLPHIN DASHER is hilarious, but gets old after a while. Is fun though. (Should be able to finally reach 9K VR today, too, assuming the game doesn't DC me twice and I get item ***** in between, resulting in 700 VR lost in 10 minutes. XP)

Yeah, it's a nice vehicle. I like it on WiFi, especially with Yoshi, because it can still handle Shy Guy Beach. >_> Dang those SGB spammers. I encountered one last night. Thankfully, other courses got picked, but it never got to him except once in the beginning, and I won by a huge margin. I use Mach Bike when I feel serious though.

Rosalina in Flame Flyer seems to be best for this one.

She's outclassed by Funky Kong though. He's the most popular choice for the time trials since he's the only large character with a +2 Speed handicap. Practically every world champ uses him.

for me its not the shells its the stupid rainbow road, never won there, and the nice fat karts toying with us on jumps.

I am going on holiday soon, so I will no longer be able to update this, even though I haven't been playing MKW at all for quite a while. Therefore I hope the list gets updated when people add their FC's.

I haven't seen anyone post about this yet so...

From now until 7/9, there's a tournament that's in effect. This tournament takes place in Coconut Mall, and you need to get all the coins (50) that are scattered on the course.

For tips, a vehicle with good handling is your best bet here since drifting won't be all that effective. Good karts to use include the Cheep Charger, the Quacker, and the Classic Dragster.

not whene you have already picked your kart, and people are like RAINBOW ROAD SO WE CAN KILL THEMZ, I only have trouble there and maple race way, i want you to go race with the mach bike on rainbow road with a few heavy cars, then come back and tell me how you feel.
