You are talknig about with mario right? I hear that you can SDI out of the turtle and punish GAW for it, are you doing that? Use fireballs sparingly/smartly, since oil panic will kill you stupid early if he lands it on you. Um...space well with bair, and use cape to mix it up. I would pick Luigi, but that's me lol. Maybe you could look in the Matchup rediscussion? I think we're doing GAW now.

I heard that too, but i went in Pierce's thread (the prediction of tier 4.0) and heard something else. GAW ***** them both, we know that. The difference is how mario and luigi can respond. Mario can punish spacing mistakes with bair, grabs, etc. Luigi can do the same thing, except everytime Luigi does it, it's more damage on GAW. And then, once GAW is in killing percent, it splits more. GAW has to be extremely careful vs Luigi, since one mistake at about 50% could mean death from a shoryuken. Vs mario, he really only has to watch for Fsmash (mostly, since this kills him pretty early) and Usmash (also takes a while).

tl:dr Luigi and Mario both have a really hard time. They both have to punish mistakes, but Luigi gets alittle more reward for each successful punish, and can finish GAW significantly earlier than Mario. I would pick Luigi, but it's still a toss up, since they both do pretty bad.

Just pick on the GnW's bad habits. It's usually a grab problem. It's what I do.

GaW cant handle fire ball spam once you fill his bucket. Pick FD and spam him. But you gotta be as insane as me to do that and pull if off ;D
