Mr. Eric is such an aggressive Marth. I only do wifi, but he's crazy man. How bad was it? lol. He told me to be "faster" with mario. I was just like, there's lag + How are you suppose to be faster with Mario? I feel like I may be missing something there, lolThat's true Cwhip I could probably have utilized FLUDD more throughout the match. I guess I was too concerned with trying to get in on ROB. A long time ago I played against Mr. Eric and after our game he said that I respected ROB too much and I should go in more because ROB doesn't have many options once Mario is inside. I guess I took his advice a little too far and let myself get tunnel vision in the MU. Thanks for everyone's advice!
Eric is right about rob not having many options once mario is in close range combat
I didn't realize T25 was an inspiration for mario mains alike. I guess i have been sleeping under a rock for so long.As for T25 I think he says "swag" a little too much for his own good lol. But he's a great motivator for mario mains and a great enthusiast for all things smash related.
I actually did that with steep when we were teaming and I was left to 2v1. It ended with me d-tilting to fsmashing a puff lol. But other than that, it's just wrong. hahad-tilt can be a tricky kill set-up for those who don't see it coming. d-tilt > f-smash.
or you can d-tilt > (read ur opponent's landing)U-smash. it's pretty much old 2010 mario crap, but can be somewhat useful.I actually did that with steep when we were teaming and I was left to 2v1. It ended with me d-tilting to fsmashing a puff lol. But other than that, it's just wrong. haha
My plumber is a chameleon of other mario mains. No, Im kidding man. Most of us kind of have an idea to what we're talking about.
The thing about Mario (and those that main him): He's a versatile character. He has answers to many (but not all) situations; few, if any, are sure-fire ways to go. When you watch a match like Boss, Steep, or Cwhip, they're all good but they each have their own style.
That's why I say we really don't know what we're talking about. We just know what works for us individually. And in that, we have kind of an idea to the character.
You'll learn that with Mario, there's no right or wrong.
