I don't know if anyone still posts their profile info in here anymore but I will anyways. Hello, I just recently joined so I'm new. Obviously, I'm a Mario main, not just in the smash games but in all the spin off titles like Mario Kart and Mario sports. My name is Mike and I'm from Orlando, Florida. Actually, Sensei recommended this site to me. I've only been to two tourneys and I met Sensei at the second one. I was impressed because he's obviously good and was the only other Mario main there. Anyways, glad to meet you all. P.S. As a random side note, Mario is heavily underrated. I see MK is the main nemesis here (no surprise) and yes, I have trouble with MK but I'd never drop Mario.

Sensei is a cool guy...stick with him...he'll teach you well....if I get back into the scene...I'll help you out too

I beat him one game, lol. And thanks, your Zelda/Sheik was really good. In all honesty I probably wouldn't have taken a game if you went all Sheik, I'm bad at that matchup.

I probably could have beaten Hylian if I was more motivated, at that point I already knew I wasn't making it out of pools. /johns

As for quitting, Caleb. I will still probably go to Brawl tournaments sometimes, I just don't know when. I'm not too big of a fan of traveling!

Thanks and I have no doubts Mario is the coolest. I've actually checked this site before to get some ideas and insight on specific moves. Pretty good too because because of the attention to detail. And also thanks, I'll ask if I any come up.

Yeah, I saw him about a year ago at that tourney and he did pretty well. I'm sure he's gotten better, as have I. But where I stand is for you guys to decide. And thanks for the help. Not a lot of Mario's down here in Florida.

Yo man, good to see you finally joined this site. It helped me get better years ago, and I know it'll help you, too. Just a heads up, it's pretty hard to do well with Mario here in FL. There's A LOT of really good players. I've gone all Mario at most of my tournaments and I've had decent results, but it's been a serious uphill battle. Mario is definitely amazing, but work on some secondary characters for those really tough matchups. I'm taking a break from tourneys as of the moment to focus on school, but I'm doing my hyperbolic time chamber training with some other characters. Hopefully I'll be turning some heads when I return. If you need any advice though, definitely let me know.

Haha. Thanks. Nice reference to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Dragon Ball is second to none, fav show/anime. Anyways, yeah I've heard about the steep competition here in Florida. I know what I saw at those two tournaments was barely the tip of the iceburg. Yeah, I've picked up some secondaries but the bad thing about that is that my serious secondaries are Bowser and Link. I'm not terrible with them but I know that doesn't prove as good insurence, especially for Mario. Problem with me is that I don't find interest in using those upper ranked characters as much. I might have to though.

Well this is how I see it. The Jets have a momentum boost that will be pretty hard to break. They do have to go to Pittsburg and its quite a task to beat the Steelers on their home field, especially in the post season. But the Jets just beat the odds by going into New England and doing what the majority of the public did not think would happen. They beat a team that had previously beat them by what, 40 points? Yes, the Steelers have much more experience and a good resume but this will ultimately come down to who fought harder. The Packers were supposed to be better anyways but were stricken with injuries. I think they will come out on top. And I'm a Giants fan so I have no favorites here, I'm still ashamed of their collapse from the Eagles and Packers. Remember, this is just what I think so don't take this offensively. I'll probably be wrong. And Mario wins either way.

They should make a Mario American Football game. It should be called Super Mario Gridiron or something. Mario at QB. Bowser at offensive tackle. Yoshi at running back. That'd be pretty cool.
