Hi everyone.

I can't really throw videos online because of my poor connections. Would anyone be willing to take my replays and put them up?

I also don't have WiFi, so it'd only work if you could get them online through the computer and transfer them to your SD card.

So yeah.

I also went Mario in some friendlies during a tournament on Saturday. I did a bit better in comparison to the videos recorded last Thursday, but I don't think I recorded any of it. >_<

Anyways, would someone be willing to do it?

yo ******* i needs some inspirational help here lol it's kinda related to Bo's blog about pride (if you didn't read it, look for it!)

idk why, but i lose to randoms, but do FAR MORE better against pros but i can't seem to finish them off (going last hit against bum back in dec, ****** adhdd's diddy in doubles alot <3, going somewhat last hit against kid's falco, most of the times it ends up being 1-2 last hit or me in 0-2 but in somewhere near last hit in both games)

but when it comes to random people, i get *****, usually last hit 1-2, or 0-2 but i just seem to do far more worst idk why.. like in Viridian City, l got to beat a pro for the first time... but lost to randoms and couldnt get out of pools 0.o lol..

help a homie out ? =/

I know what you mean Hippie...

I know why in my case: I lose focus against people who don't challenge me enough, so against a lot of people I should beat, I lose focus and mess up, and against better people, I do really well, but you know, they're better then me so they still barely beat me (Or they're vastly better and I get crushed.).

Maybe its like how Bo said in his blog, you respect the pros and you try your best but you think you can beat some random person in pools.

Could be because by beating 'pro's' you'll feel a lot better about yourself, and you know their good so you don't underestimate them. You feel a lot more under pressure which seems to make you play better. However, versus 'random's' you may get a little too overconfident, and don't think they're that great at the game, start sandbagging a bit.

Just never underestimate your opponent.

It's never an easy ride for Mario, mainly because of his attributes.

Each match you go into demands focus and concentration, even against MUs like Ganon and Link.

Pros play differently than Randoms...Randoms play random while Pros are more easier to read since...If your use to playing pro status players it's just 2nd nature...

For me, in order to beat randoms I play at they're level of skill...in other words sandbag...I'm not saying sandbag intentionally, this is just how I approach the situation...Also, when I say "sandbag" I'm talking about

1. Playing Slower/Safer
2. Not thinking too much of the situation
3. Not looking for things pros would do in the MU

Most randoms make alot more mistakes than pros do...just wait for your opportunities...

Even though it's a random, don't go into the match underestimating your opponent either....Wait until you actually fully analyze who your up against before choosing a good coarse of action...

If your playing a random thats actually "good" then play him like you would play a pro...

Some people say to play 100% all the time and just **** but you have to know where to draw the line if your playing 100% and still lose...

This may not make alot of sense to some but oh wellz...I got nothing else to say but keep playing everyone you possibly can and adapt to every "playstyle" possible, good and bad

yeah pretty much lol

like bo's blog said, pretty much when you fought someone who is overall better than you, you know your going to lose, but you still keep the mentality to win and to mostly learn i never feel pressured or nervous unless l'm having alot of fingerslips against a pro. idk why, i can examine high level play and know why this pro did this, but somewhat averagely perform it in a match, but when it comes to people that aren't so much as a high level player, it's hard for me to down level myself to their level (maybe i'm being overly on a ego, i'm pretty sure that was one of my problems lol)

i'd die to ask a TO to put a high level player as my first match in bracket, because l can learn so much and i can care less about results... but when its not a high level player it's like ugggh idk how to respect them (even worst when they have MK as their back pocket lolz)

edit : also **** post famous just dunno how to sandbag (when i sandbag, it's like i just test **** out LOL idk)

wall of text ftw~

Sandbagging itself is a mindgame....It throws your opponent off into a false sense of security...They'll probably think "zomg, this guy is trash..." then you randomly 0-death them...By that time it's too late for them to recover... Even though its contradictory, I'm not promoting sandbagging...Just play to win...This is just how I win against randoms...

Lol, were low tier though...we got no right to sandbag...>.>

When I fight pro's, I get the mindset "OMGAH IMMA GO SUPA SAIYAN RAAAWR!! GOTTA WIN!!", and I do crazy **** I didn't know I can pull off..

Against randoms, my mindset is more like "skip this guy, he's only a random..." and then I notice I'm losing xD

But what I love hearing is when a random find out they're about to fight me, I over hear them talking to their friends "how do I beat a Mario?!?!?" But then followed that is usually "I should just spam dsmash and tornado..."

I sand bag in low tier against people who don't main low tiers ^^

ol, were low tier though...we got no right to sandbag...>.>

LOL thats the problem its like impossible, xD we still have to work harder against ppl like snake and mk in friendlies or else we'll lose everyone of them XD

and yea most people dont take the time to learn low tiers MUs from high level perspective but it doesnt take that long to notice that you just have to bait low tier's bull**** and shield and punish them xD

i even lost to falcon in tourney like twice or something like that, i hate myself alot too, its too hard for me to respect people that aren't known that much compared to like Jashh and Ninjalinkk

Guys, don't misunderstand my definition to sandbag...Lol, I don't want people getting wrecked because they misunderstood...

"zomg, famous you made me lose"lol

It's just a way for me to cope with randoms (i.e nubs)

My sandbag=playing slow and gay... Basically the opposite of how I play...

I'm blaming my next loss on Famous.

Also, playing slow and gay =/= sandbagging. Slow and gay is gooooooooooood if you know how to do it.

It didn't suck, I just found it really fun, but too short/easy, and there were some worlds I feel they could have done more with.

Would you prefer to just hear her grunt instead? :lick:

Didn't bother me much, though I did headtilt for a moment. She did "talk" in Fusion though, so nothing new.

I don't mind Samus talking. She talked in Fusion, and Fusion was awesome. I'm also real anxious to see the Wii Zelda at E3.

I play against everyone the same way. I sandbag whenever I'm exhausted mentally.

However against random or pro, my focus is always the same. Observe and pick you apart and ideally find a funny way to humiliate you in the process.
