RL just matters to me more right now. I'm in a busy week. I worked 60 hours already this week. Gonna have to see how next week goes. Unlike many of you, I have a career and a family. I'm 27 years old. I'm going to have weeks where I can't really care about games on the internet. Just life.

Here's a simple idea: role claim. It won't sap a lot of your time; all you need is like 2-5 minutes to explain your role to us. This could help, and since you're going to be busy this contribution would be greatly appreciated.

Man I forgot Bed was even in the game.

That tends to happen.

However, since then, my opinion of OS has moved back closer to neutral, while my opinion of Bed has shifted more towards scum. My reasons are this.

1) He was the one who started the Roxy wagon

He was the first vote, but he seems to be quite adamant about it with no other basis than he annoys me.

Is being the first somehow indicative of scumminess or something? Also, the Roxy wagon had basis; he was being useless, and my preferred lynches early game are useless and inactive people. He MIGHT have survived if he had managed to claim and explain why he was acting like that (>.>), but I somehow doubt that anwyays.

2) He seconded Dan's notion of vigilanted nightkilling me. Dan had already expressed distaste for my playstyle, so him saying this doesn't strike me as odd at all; however, Bed pops out of nowhere to concur, at a time when I was still assumed by most to be noob town. It's plausible that he was just aggravated by my sloppy play that day, but here again he is pushing to lynch someone with little basis.

I don't think I needed to explain why I thought you were a good vig target; I posted that after you had started saying "I'm a terrible player, please lynch me", and I thought I was doing you (and town) a favour lolol. Just because a player posts that they want something done (or votes someone, FOSes someone, etc.) with no explanation, it doesn't mean they don't have a reason. If you're unclear on the reason, ask them.

3) He joined the OS bandwagon with Swiss because "it seemed fun." You already know my opinion of Swiss. This point isn't the strongest, but it is still in my mind.

See the above. ^ You need to be able to read a players motives behind their actions, and not the actions themselves, to determine their alignment. I doubt anyone here thought I legitimately only voted OS just because his wagon "seemed fun" (although it was :3).

I legitimately did have a gut-read on OS, and seeing at least 1 other (probs not X1) have that same read made me a bit more confident that I was on the right track. However, I think OS responded well to the pressure, and I'm comfortable to unvote and say that he's back to a null read for me.

I'll post more tomorrow as I'm sleepy now (will probs make a case or something), but if you want scum picks from me now, I'm getting weird vibes from adum and am definitely going to look into him tomorrow, and I'd be OK with either a Pierre or Dastrn lynch for general uselessness/inactivity (lol hypocrisy). I know what I said about Pierre, but I don't remember his inactivity being THIS bad. :/

oh, and I can't remember who said it, but the Abductor is DEFINITELY more of a threat right now than mafia. If both toDay's lynch and mafia's NK fail to hit abductor, and we fail toMorrow too, the mafia will either have to correctly guess who the abductor is or no kill or we all lose (mafia AND town). Abductor is gonna end this game way faster than normal if we don't get him soon. Doesn't really change much (I mean, we'd be a blessed town if we could make the decision between lynching a mafiat and lynching the abductor, lol), but I'd look out for individual tells rather than associative tells atm.

None of those 3 points is anything notable on their own. It's the pattern that arises when you group them together. It's not a solid "you're scum" tell, but it makes me wary of you.

Uhh, scratch this lol. It'd be better just to get replacements for these people. Pierre, if you can't handle this game ATM, please replace out so we don't have a (likely town) modkill on our hands. Dastrn, could you tell us when you'll be able to fully commit to this game? If it's gonna be a week+, you should probably consider replacing out, since your activity/contributions toDay hasn't been stellar.

Will get working on that reread/case soon. Not sure who the play is anymore.

BS case is BS, how have I been parroting OS? My pressure game has primarily been cases that I opened up. I certainly defended OS, but parroting, hell no.


And why is "nobody hammer yet" a classic scumplay? I've dealt with more then a few idiotic quickhammers and seen plenty, and what happened, an idiotic quickhammer.

Good example was were you were happy to not pressure me as I was V/LA. OS had said similar (but with a question @me to get me involved, just before). In retrospect, you didn't try to get me back in the game at all, which n itself isn't lynch worthy - I know. My notes don't have the post numbers, they just say ya been parroting so I'll quote them when I find/look for them. I remember it from the re-read though.

Wait what? I'm confused, why would separating the posts any less inviting for a quickhammer? I would think that having it in the same post would make sure that it was there as early as possible therefore limiting the timeframe that a quickhammer should occur.


Why you skimming swiss? I didn't decline to pressure you when you were V/LA I just wasn't around that much then due to my own crazy schedule. The only thing that could be possibly taken as me declining to pressure you was when I opposed Overswarm to say that you were likely town.
