I'll begin with this, as I believe I looked over it at the time; I noticed it when I was looking through OS's and Bed's posts.

Vocal, do you think X1-12's strategy of "follow a strong player" is inherently scummy, knowing he's parroted Swiss in a variety of games?

Is this WIFOM? I'm still new to the term so I'm not sure. Anywho, I think it would depend on the situation. If X1 has had few leads on anyone, then following Swiss would be acceptable. However, if he was previously gunning for someone and then switched his vote to follow Swiss, that would smell faintly of scum to me.

It's hard to. After reading through their posts again, I feel like I couldn't explain it as more than a gut feeling at the time. It just seemed to flow too...rehearsed. It's difficult to explain why it felt funny to me However, since then, my opinion of OS has moved back closer to neutral, while my opinion of Bed has shifted more towards scum. My reasons are this.

1) He was the one who started the Roxy wagon

6. Roxy - AHHHH please lynch him. Hate his playstyle; little content, little presence. He's made 27 posts but I don't feel like he's done anything. I would be happy with a Roxy lynch toDay if people want to jump on board.

He was the first vote, but he seems to be quite adamant about it with no other basis than he annoys me.

2) He seconded Dan's notion of vigilanted nightkilling me. Dan had already expressed distaste for my playstyle, so him saying this doesn't strike me as odd at all; however, Bed pops out of nowhere to concur, at a time when I was still assumed by most to be noob town. It's plausible that he was just aggravated by my sloppy play that day, but here again he is pushing to lynch someone with little basis.

3) He joined the OS bandwagon with Swiss because "it seemed fun." You already know my opinion of Swiss. This point isn't the strongest, but it is still in my mind.

Those are my thoughts for the time being on Bed.

In other news, I'm beginning to question whether or not Dan truly is town, abducted or not.

Argh, way too many question marks, vocal's recent play is starting to make me doubt my initial idiot town read, but I'm still more confident of that then my reads on anyone else.

My view of swiss is the same as before, I see his lynch attempt on OS as a move by a townie that thought he had a good read, and because of that I think I can take the rest of his wagoning on face value, gut reads. He needs to be more systematic imo.

OS hasn't tossed up any red flags and the wagon on him disturbs me too much, as I said, could still be the abductor, but mafia should be priority and again no red flags.

Dan I'm rather unsure of, when we deal with the abductor I'll do a reread, but he's not a priority atm.

X1 is extremely wagon happy which disturbs me, but he's applying some good pressure so I'm ok with him for now.

Dastrn doesn't seem to exist, and his hinting at a PR was... odd, he seems to have a near non-existent pressure game.

Pierre... is he even in this game?

Sir Bed, his play reminds me a lot of his play in bioware, nearly non-existant, not saying much that's useful (but stuff that seems useful), I don't like him at all.

I like his voting history, it speaks of an aggressive player that's willing to start wagons and is confident in his reads, his pushing too hard is due to him being too confident in my opinion, and the only reason I'd raise my eyebrow is if he caught the abductor with one of these reads since mafia will have 2 confirms as opposed to 1.


Convincing me would need a legit scumslip.

Problems I have with Sir Bed

I had already mentioned how I don't like how quiet Pierre is, including requesting a prod. As far as Sir Bed goes, my reasons for suspecting him are slightly different, but I would still be ok with lynching him. It's true that I didn't say anything about Dastrn before, but he was in the back of my mind.

But I'm not following your reads. I had already stated that I had suspicions of Sir Bed, and was simply commenting that if you were to vote for Sir Bed then I would as well. If so, as I just stated, I already stated agreement on two of those points before he even mentioned his opinions; while the third can't be shown with posts, I can also say that it was something I was already thinking about. Oh and you're right. I think your mention of him slipped my mind between when I seconded that and now because I've always considered Pierre to be pretty quiet, so all it did was remind me of that.

Pierre makes me extremely uncomfortable for how quiet he is.

And while you may simply keep an eye on me, your statements may sow seeds of suspicion in the minds of others, and I see the most prudent solution to a problem as nipping it in the bud when possible.

RL just matters to me more right now. I'm in a busy week. I worked 60 hours already this week. Gonna have to see how next week goes. Unlike many of you, I have a career and a family. I'm 27 years old. I'm going to have weeks where I can't really care about games on the internet. Just life.

First, OS was not targeting Swiss. He was claiming that Swiss had no case. I'm the one who started raising suspicions about Swiss.

Second, I joined the OS wagon because of reasons I had already stated, not just to join a wagon.

Third, I have made cases against people that were not first started by strong players - Roxy initially and X1 later (iir the order c). (Not talking about the case where Roxy actually got lynched.) Oh yea, and how could I forget my exposition of Sir Bed? All of these were independent decisions - if I happen to end up aligning with a strong player it is simply coincidence.
