Videos, oh videos. I am liking this. Playstyles getting revealed everyday. I hope all of you are watching these vids, as they are very helpful to watch.

Guys, if you have vids, please share them, so I don't have to search through youtube everyday looking. (This will not stop me from doing it though, if you have vids up, I will most likely find them)

I remember that at the end of the match I played with that Olimar, he complained about it being a campy match...my head exploded shortly after.

I might have a few more Trela matches from Hobo 28...I still have to go through the raw footage.

It isn't actually, but you guys still can xD.

The reason why I am avoiding critique's, is because I want people to question about the playstyles rather then the habits. Of course, I will not stop you from giving advice, so critique away on that part, but I do want you guys to understand that this is not exactly what it is about.

I want questions about why a person fair'd at this time instead of this option, or why this person is more grounded then playing aerial. Things like that is what I am looking for =]

Added Junebug vs Felix vids from DC. It is hard to watch the first 2, but the last one is watchable.

I never get things recorded anymore, but maybe its better that way.

If you want stuff recorded, make an effort to get it done. @ VC, you WILL be recorded, so don't worry about that.

So... im not entirely sure what were meant to do here, seems like everyone is treating this as the standard video thread which is hard to blame them for since it doesnt seem obvious what to do different... are my new vids of any use?

That's ok. Allow me to explain.

This thread is to help everyone learn playstyles rather then just watch videos. While the video thread is similar to this, they should be taken differently. During Apex, all the lucarios gathered around a TV for a day or so and played ditto's and friendles, as well as some money matches. During that time, I could not help to notice that everyone plays differently, but in the end, had a effective way of going about using lucario. I feel that because we don't share videos as often as we should, we miss out on way's to go about situations. Sharing how we do things is a very big key to growing as a player and as a community. The intention of this thread is to not critique, but rather question as to why someone is doing "X choice" at x time" or "X choice for this option" It is easy to speculate in theory why we do certain options, but to actually have videos where we can look at them and question it to ourselves and to others changes the field.

In the critique thread, we just pick out each others mistakes. This is not the goal of this thread. In due time, I will move all of these videos into the normal video thread, or even maybe just keep it here and have this thread for deeper conversation on playstyles. I can say that this thread has helped me a lot, and from some responses I have received over aim, it has helped others greatly as well. All this thread really is for is to pick apart the way we go about situations, and hopefully gain something to add to ours. Every noticed how grounded Junebug is, Or Lee martins use of Dtilt in situations? How about how often Trela or D. Disciple likes to keep in the air at times? I was shocked at Apex when I starting noticing all of this, so I was hoping to give the same spark to everyone else =P.

About your videos, I actually did not notice you uploaded any until you mentioned it just now. I will take a look at them and add them here later. Every video is useful to a degree. I want to see what you do differently from everyone else, and why you do some of the things you do, and for what reasons. This is not just me, but for everyone to see it as well. I will also have some Flamey vids hopefully by next week.

I'm definitely going to sit down and watch every video in this thread, and read everyone's comments about them. Hopefully I can learn a thing or two, or five.

I just picked up Lucario after Apex, and very quickly, he became my main. Hopefully I can get some of my matches recorded next weekend at a tournament, and you guys can help me get better.

If you guys want, I could sit down and write down what I notice each of you guys do in your matches. Every single on, as well as the doubles. This can be a very long process, but I'll do it. I have a lot of free time at work lately to sit down and watch full sets before I have to park a plane or push a plane.

Yeah, Lucario and Ness/Lucas works surprisingly well too, assuming the Ness/Lucas can stock tank and get kills.
