I have come to a hard conclusion that our metagame is not advancing, not because of our character, but rather, our lack of sharing thoughts between the community. After some hard thought, I decided to make this thread for everyone.

This thread is to share all videos between the users of the Lucario boards, and I really mean all users. Because we lack communication, sharing ideas, and playstyles, it is hard for all lucarios to grab worth while information. Half of what makes a character progress, and also the person, IS the community sharing ideas and playstyles.

Please, do not get this confused with the video and critique thread, as this is not for critiqing. This thead is to souly share our different playstyles and ideals to one another in a collective way. This will only work if everyone participates, meaning Junebug, Lee Martian, Staffy, Ph1lny3, Trela, FlameWavek, Zucco, and others (See what I did there? /namesearch) Please, please, please, post videos, any video, and all videos of your lucarios vs _________, so we can all learn from each other and grow.

I will take videos and post them in the OP as they come along. I would advise people who are new to the community to please refrain from posting videos here, and move videos of the newer members to the video and critique thread.

Sounds like my group might do a smashfest soon, I'll get recent vids of me playing, most recent I have is me playing against Myth in the ditto or Link vs Falco/Lucario.

Just remember guys that getting recent videos is important. Also, tell everyone to do this! Get Lee and everyone else to do it ASAP.

I took him to game 3 once.
And winning one close game and getting worked the other two doesn't mean a set is close just because it went to game 3, by the way.

from what I remembered you were only getting "worked" on game 3

Game 1 & 2 were reasonable from what I remember, c'mon Stauffy give yourself credit, your older matches weren't so good, but you do play alright.

K guys, I don't mind the minor discussion, but this is actually what I am trying to move away from. Less speculation, and more productivity. We need the videos, so please if you can, stop talking about how you are going to go about getting the videos, and actually, well... Post videos. lol.

You do something I find myself doing that's a bad habit. I think you Fsmash more on grounded opponents, instead of tilts. In the first match you used Fsmash almost entirely over tilts. There were times where Fsmash should have been used over tilts, but you kinda opted to not use tilts at all in these double matches. Tilts are much safer than Fsmash and it is something I was suprised you didn't do.

I hear more that Lucario should play a lot more aggressively in doubles where he can abuse aura, but you seemed to be the stock tankrole in this respect. Lucario gets a debuff playing this role so he isn't exactly the character to be put into this role unless your sure you can still kill people with the debuff.

My 2 cents on this.

Thanks, on my rebuttal. Ganon has a lot more hitting power than I do throughout the whole game until I'm at high percent or mid aura. Even if I did the anubis strat, I felt more comfortable being there for support. I did tell Breezy that I should be a bit more aggressive the next time we play, that set yeah I used a lot of smashes. Other games I did tilts, jabs, during our friendlies all I did was jab people if Breezy ever got grabbed, then noticed that I get a free smash attack after they throw him because of the lag.

Thanks for your advice though.

As long as you have a valid reason to do it, Ganon + Breezy and your not using Fsmash over tilts all the time, then it's fine.
