Really wish he didn't slink away when I fired off that backhand, because my heart wasn't really in it. Just wanted to see how he reacts to it. But I don't want to waste time waiting for his response to mild pressure.

Steve is one of two very (very very, very very very) minor characters on Lost who mostly appears in the first season. Steve is repeatedly mixed up with the character Scott Jackson, and it's played for comic relief. Hey Steve go does this "I'm Scott" "Yeah I'm Steve!" and so on.

I could see Tandora throwing that in there as a joke, especially since (suck it Tando I'm analyzing you too) she said she was willing to drop down to 16 or even 17 players. Who are two completely forgettable slots? Scott Jackson and Steve Jenkins the VTs.

So this one comes down largely to whether I trust Ryker, I guess.

The extreme minorness of Steve (and total lack of any flavor in Laundry's role PM) is the only bothersome stuff here, but I think the stuff I noted about Tandora's behavior before the game filled counterbalances that.

I think your set-up speculation with Kat is reachy. You could be right, you could be wrong, but if he's telling the truth, then town has a cop, a protective, a nurse, a tracker, a vig, a "line tapper," and a forensics inspector. That seems pretty stacked to me. Ten bucks says GLife's been killing the folks that were dying. We still have no explanation for the lack of scum motivated murders unless you tell me you think you've hit the protective correctly every time.

Everything you said about Joey is solved with the word safeclaim. He is still very much on the table.

I like Laundry. I like him a lot. I would lynch Joey and Kat before him EASY. After that, it would be him then GLife. The order could change between here and there.

GLife already admitted to killing the folks that have been dying. And are you saying you believe GLife? Because if you do, that means we have no scum motivated murders as you said. I certainly haven't been "hitting every protective correctly", you'll get what I mean when I claim. And if it wasn't clear I'm kind of on the fence about Kat, but the fact that he nailed me as a protective and I'm not dead is pretty huge, and putting all the flip eggs in one basket with you is pretty ****ty design.

Actually this is a good time to move on to G Life rather than continue a tangent.

So yeah blah blah his claim lines up. Sayid is a good guy that tries to use his talents for good but always also hurts people blah blah moral crises. So let's talk about the more important stuff.

Kat's claim backs GLife up, ostensibly. He cites no communication. But, he also cited no communication with mentos, which is screwy unless Tando is doing some weird NAR where because mentos died N1 he couldn't communicate or whatever the ****.

You've been betting on Lovers since the day Kevmo and Mentos went missing, and that fits the flips you've provided since Jin and Sun would rather die than be apart. But GLife has claimed the death of only one of them. Which means either Gheb was lying about N1 (ehhhhh) or it was somehow the only mafia death we've had. There's incongruity here.

Lastly, if GLife is telling the truth, then we have either a mafia that can't kill (bull****) or a mafia that has elected not to kill every not (some seriously unlikely **** right thur)

I have some questions for G Life but for now I'll settle for his targets and why he picked whom he did.

So yeah, I was going to claim Edward Mars, the town marshal. And I was going to claim that I'm trying to find Kate Austen and target people at night, which would either protect people from a night action performed by her (bam, Chaco), or capture her and mason with her if successful. It'd be non-alignment confirmed, and she would become bulletproof so long as I am alive (modified to fit Kat outing me). This was meant to tempt mafia into possibly going all "okay I was faking it actually I'm the doctor" and if it was well-received I might have even kept up with it to leave mafia without the knowledge of the doc for one more night. I even breadcrumbed it when I asked chaco baby where you been all my life

But apparently Juliet was nurse and you outed that, so, ****. That confirms the presence of a doc, and with Kat outing me, yeah.

I'm Jack Shepard. The town doctor. Leader of the Losties. I breadcrumbed this a couple times, only one I remembered was when I flirted with the stewardess mod character and thanked her for the vodka, which I bantered about in pregame, and Jack on the show did just that stuff. Pretty funny that I asked for a stronger drink in reference to Jack before I knew I would be Jack.

So yeah.

N1 - Ryker. Mafia loves to try to hit Ryker early on and I kinda liked his play, so I took a stab at it here.
N2 - Asdioh. He's mostly clear and based on shooting nulls on N1 it seemed like a likely target.
N3-4 - Auspher. Self-explanatory. Almost protected Chaco last night, but yeah.

And, no we're not gonna dogpile another lynch and potentially leave someone open to quickhammering, blowing an entire ****ing Dayphase I could use to do reading. I'll be hoenst, I didn't actually do ANY of the rereading I said I would. The only rereading I did was on N4 to decide between Ausu and Chaco. I just haven't had the time. Pretty pissed about Asdioh putting J at L-1. Regardless of whether he feels like reading the damn game and playing properly, other people may want to.

So, yeah, not letting that happen again.

Oh and N1 I was roleblocked by the image of my dead father (Christian Shepard, aka the Smoke Monster). I was pretty pissed because Tandora would tell me if it was some **** that's intrinsic to the role (it happens in the show when Jack sees his father's ghost around and loses his mind a bit, plus Gheb flipped as Smokey so...) or just fancy roleblock favor. All she would say was "what, you don't like flavor?" Anyways I pieced it together later when Auspher claimed a result from N1 despite outing himself rather specifically. J targeted me N1 because I'm town and good at mafia, so he got all scurred when he replaced in. It works.

From D1 I've been worried about the possibility that Ryker is scum trying to buddy his way into my lap and ride through every wave until victory. When N3 rolled around I thought I'd finally quelled that.

Mentos should be fairly obvious looking at our exchange D1. I didn't see him getting lynched, so I took it into my own hands (which worked out great clearly).
