so...if I eventually post the vid of me losing to this one DDD player...this is what happens the SECOND time I get killed by the Gordo...Whodat's the guy who is standing behind me. watch his mouth move so you can see how crazy his timing was when he said that. also the whole video is pretty good. Slash Talon captured/edited all of this [and it's important to know that Slash made it for the ending to be funny]

edit: @ you will also see people like G-Reg doing things they didn't know were being captured...and me and Hova briefly discussing the Critical Hit thread...and one poor soul in SoVa who just...isn't fully understood by everyone >_> poor guy. The magnifying glass used by Slash at that part is particularly unfortunate.

New vids coming soon of me vs Slikvik, one of MD/VA's best Peach, Wario, and G&W players. G&W is his best, and he's probably the best G&W in the region (which isn't saying a whole lot because he is rare here), but oddly enough I had the most trouble with his Peach. Ftilts and grab release -> usmash kinda ruin Wario though, so those matches weren't even close.

We played 1v1 for a good 4 hours, and these vids show my ROB at the peak of my game. Expect some of the better matches to be posted in the next few days, hopefully tomorrow.

You guys, don't expect many videos of me anymore. My plans to host monthlies to get money to go to other places for tournies is kind of failing so the only time I'll get to play any brawl is when I go down to monthly tournies and the rare chance someone drives an hour to play me. Sucks.. Uni connection won't let me even play Wifi so I think my brawl career is pretty shot. :/

Sudai: when you first connected your computer to the internet, did you have to register it with the school's ISP? At USF, we had to register each device with the school before it would allow it to access outside pages. Until then, it would redirect to their registration page.

Due to the way the Wii's internet set up is, you can't go online until it passes the testing phase. So since you can't get to the page to register, it'd be blocked before passing the test. The way to get around it was to access that page from a computer, then plug in the Wii's MAC address. That lets you register the Wii without actually using it to do so.

Of course if it's just something stupid like they don't allow gaming (I've heard some schools block WoW) then that sucks for you. Just thought I'd share, since I had that trouble at first.

They block gaming ports. They shape the connection so much here it's ridiculous. They leave one chat port open and one other connection for the internet. So..I can load one page at a time (tabbed browsing out the window FTL) OR, not and, OR, I can download one thing at a time. No torrents either due to multiple connections there.

It's ridiculous...

I'll take the Ganon vid because it's a rare matchup, but the other opponents are common and we already have a lot of great videos for them. I gotta be honest with you, you're ROB is good, but it's lacking a lot of the tricks that high-level ROBs use. I watched 3 or 4 of your vids but I don't remember you glidetossing once. You're very aggressive and it's good to have your own style, but I think watching some vids of other ROBs could help your game a lot.

Xeno (ROB) vs. Jim (Ganondorf)
Final Destination - a nice spike and a very nice stage spike at the end

Edit: Here are my vids with SlikVik. They were all good matches, some of the best matches I've ever played. I picked some of the best ones to put up, and I tried to give Vik fair representation, but I did win the majority. Out of the matches we recorded, the final score was:
ROB vs Peach: 9-7
ROB vs G&W: 10-3
ROB vs Wario: 3-0
I just had a lot of trouble with his Peach, so much priority on her aerials :( He gave up on Wario pretty quick though, hehe.

Ignore the part that says "$20 MM," that was just to hook in all the idiots.

Battlefield - ftilt edgeguarding @ 2:35
Yoshi's Island - I love the way the stage bounces your gyro when you fire it from the side platforms
Smashville - stage-spiked the umbrella with a reverse bair @ 2:45
Battlefield - 0-75% combo on me @ 1:50, after which I dish out over 250% and 2 kills before dying

JCaesar (ROB) vs SlikVik (G&W)
Final Destination - argh I die at such low % to his smashes
Yoshi's Island - the turtle is so annoying, but smash DI up out of it and you get a free hit
Brinstar - he suicides at 0% on his second stock (total mindgames) but he almost comes back; also, quadruple nair @ 1:55
Smashville - I'm getting better at catching the key with my nair

Smashville - some funny wheel combos early on
Yoshi's Story - fair and Wario's ftilt trade hits, be careful with that
Battlefield - ftilts and grab release -> usmashes, poor Wario, nothing he can do

Wario is an aerial character, and he's so fast he'll destroy you in the air, even if his range is kinda short. But you don't have to play his game. Especially on a stage like Battlefield, just hide under the platforms and ftilt when he tries to approach. There's very little he can do to get past it, as your ftilts outrange, outprioritize, and outspeed all of his aerials. If he tries to airdodge through your ftilts, you have plenty of time to throw out an utilt or dsmash. If he ever gets on the platform above you go to town on him with utilts. When he gets to around 100%, grab -> release -> usmash -> gg Wario. After playing a while with SlikVik I think this match is heavily in ROB's favor on most stages.

I said something similar to what Jay-seize just said on the actual YT vid. Mix it up more; you were in the air a whole lot, and didn't accomplish a great amount with it. Also, no grabs at all the whole match? I might have missed one, but I don't think I did.

This man made it really hard for me to grab...never really get to play against Warios of his caliber >_>

It was just a horrible match for me...perhaps I should have watched it again before I asked for help hahaha
I've never been made to look so bad [except maybe by Plank after my soul was drained]

upon watching again...****...it's just embarrassing >_>

Hah, I could see why he thought you were sandbagging, NL. At least for the first stock and a half. That edge guarding he did to you on your second stock was just horrible. How could you let that happen? XD

Someone rear-ended my truck this morning, pretty hard. He was probably going 30 mph and I was stopped. There was hardly a scratch on my bumper, but his little Acura was totaled. Funny stuff. I thought about keeping the bits of his car that landed in my bed as trophies.

All I wanted to say was, "BUILT FORD TOUGH! OWNED *****!"
