Been practicing Link's tether cancel. I'm getting quite consistent with tether/double tether cancel into up b recovery. Not only is this not all that risky & incredibly useful for throwing people off, but it's sick and stylish as hell. No idea why I don't see it more often.

I fixed that for you. Of course it won't happen because it would be a sin for a Link to kill one of his fellow incarnations.

If you cancel tether fast enough or use a double jump and/or up b right after fast falling, you won't fall to your death instantly. I recommend practicing this on the ledges in Palutana'a Temple if you don't want to SD all the time.

Thanks After I learn pivot Techniques For Link Then I should Try that. How can you benefit from this technique?

If perfect pivoting is one of those, I don't recommend spending a whole lot of time on it. Not only is it super difficult to pull off and get consistent with, but it's close to useless on Link's end.

As for tether canceling's use. In summary, it's a stylish yet practical way to mix up your recovery to be less predictable.

Yeah that's nice and all, but I'd love to see it in the form of a written history. Like, explaining the history behind all those things, how they came to be. There's no mention of the whole smirking thing either. In a Link boards Historia we could also have explanations for the whole Izaw thing, and we could explain the past history of the exodus, and I can think of a few notable moments in recent times as well (when someone got ~~banned~~ banished to the silent realm). We could have the explanation and history behind 'Gay', not just what it means. You see?

They're offline. Look in the tournament section for tourneys near you -- although I believe sadly that Seattle doesn't have a very active smash scene: you'd probably have to travel a little to the Washington East region.

It's not about getting answers or not. It's about order and centralization of information. There is a reason why we have threads devoted to everything. The idea is to have one place where you can find what you're looking for instead of having it all spread out across the boards. Read the rules and follow them. This is the final amicable warning I'm giving you.
