It would mean we would see more of underused characters like Palutena and Donkey Kong, and a little more variety in other characters. I'm open to it --- there'll be no custom tourneys around always too.

I'm open to customs since, as Tinakaman I think it was, explained once, good chars cannot become better due to customs. If you already have an OP move (he gave the example of shuttle loop in Brawl), another OP custom won't break your char even more. On the other hand, a char with a bad special, like for example Jiggly's sing, you can just make it better.

I am open and in favor of customs, specially tog et the boomerang back since it's so much better than the gale.

I would say Low-mid based on the previous tier lists with 5/4 tiers named. Like tier list 3. Or maybe high low tier. Top, high, low, bottom?

I don't think Link was ever considered 'high-tier' in Melee. Mid maybe. But, yeah he's pretty low in the tier lists in that game.

Don't ya'll love them people who try to out use character that are faster and they lose Badly. I was playing as Link the a few seconds ago and I full stock him ( Full stock win without dying) And then he decided to be Fox because he was "Faster than link and has a reflector"

I full stock him 6 times and then I decided to Be MY HOME BOY PITAnd guess who he decided to play as? GAY he thought I was playing as Link so he plays as GAY and I full stock him another 3 times! Fools on for glory mode think that Link is trash and no one likes pit.

Saus, a Link main from Canada, has been growing in the ranks however. He knocked Kage into losers bracket at a tourney, and placed 4th overall. I'm starting to take notes.

@ Camalange Waded my way through the first season of "Oreimo" and thoroughly enjoyed it. Watching season 2 now.

Put me in a good enough mood to pick up FG for a bit and wandered my way into a bunch of tough games against a pikachu. I managed to walk away pretty even after about 30 games, but that's a pretty tough matchup due to Pika's juggle game and how easily it can punish Link for wanting to pull a bomb at any moment.

I had a bunch of great games against some ZSS mains but walked away with a strong majority of wins, and then it hit me.
"when did FG have good players online?"

Oreimo is my guiltiest of guilty pleasures. I need to rewatch that ****. Season 1 was probably the funniest, but season 2 gets pretty hype as it's more focused on the relationships. Despite its flaws, I still was a total sucker for the series. I won't say anything more about that until you've finished it, though.

Ah yes, I really love the sense of humor the show has treading the lines of Kyousuke's relationships with his friends and sister.
My favorite character is Saori Makishima for being a catalyst to everyone else's enjoyment. In many ways her adopted persona "Bajeena" mirrors my personality quite closely speaking in archaic and theatrical dialect while exhorting others to have fun and be themselves. I'm grateful to see a character in an anime so closely related to myself. Kirino is cute and all, but I'm sorta on the fence about most Tsundere characters, and Kuroneko is also pretty funny too. I feel bad for Kyosuke and how much abuse he takes inbetween his sis and her friend Ayase (even though Ayase is cute). Not even kidding on this note though, I have a childhood-long friend who acts EXACTLY like Manami around me, and ep.6 of season 1 really struck me in the heartstrings.

But Lawz is a Link main, in spirit at least. His trolling hasn't slipped up at all. >.>

I'm starting to think I'm garbage at this game since I'm still playing Link like Brawl is in session.

If you haven't played DQ7 yet, give it a shot when it comes out on the 3DS (whenever that may be). I own the actual PS1 disks. Man do I love it.
Finals are done. I think I'm going to head to the local Melee/PM tourney today and try to place high.

So good. I just remember being so intrigued by how well they walk that line. It's a constant like, "Does she… Does he… Do they…? Nah… They don't… But do they?? What if they do? There's no way… But maybe?"

Episode 4 iirc was so hilarious. The confrontation with his dad about Kirino's erogames? Priceless. I was laughing so hard. At first I didn't know what to make of the series but that bit sold me.

Lawz will always be one of the best Links, regardless of whether or not he even plays the character.
