The thing about Ganondorf is that he is largely misunderstood. He was dealt an unfortunate fate of being born as a male in a largely matriarchal society that reportedly only happens once every century. The sheer amount of stress and expectations put on Ganny must of been immense; especially given who his caretakers were. Then add the fact that he was born in the Gerudo Desert which lacks resources, water, and basically a harsh environment which crafted an equally harsh race of people who are technically not even labeled proper "Hyrulians" despite being, visually, racially related. So Ganondorf must of felt an immense pressure to live up the male legacy and to try and bring his people, the Gerudo, to prominence in Hyrulian society. He was already at a disadvantage. However, he also had to deal with the pain that was having the spirit of Demise sitting inside his soul and orchestrating his every move in OoT. The poor guy had tons of expectations put on him all the while having the spirit of Demise inside of him. And he failed. I can imagine why has so much willpower.

The key to victory as well as survival is to stay in step or a few steps ahead of your contemporaries in much the same way a beautifully poetic game of chess between masters is conducted. Keep your head on and take to contemplation if you are ever confused by our form of civil discourse.

Im from dominican republic(latino here) Who use to be the best melee link in my country along side with shadow. Until my link got rusty and i was forced to learn and unlearn again... But hey! Can I just say I find Jontron annoying and tedious?

Who did you use in doubles, and with what character did you team? Were the teams Sm4sh or Melee?

Did Link got the short end in the department of priority in this game? A ZSS just canceled the second strike of DSmash with a jab.

Most moves involving Link's sword have strangely low priority. Those Links who try to beat things with Dair are going about everything the wroooong way (although it will trade hits with a lot).

Yeah Link's sword priority, especially Dair has gotten me in trouble a few times too. We can't treat it like Brawl.

Edit, something funny was said about Link in another thread:
"His mid range game is non existent, played a good Link in FG then i added him and played on other stages,all i did was stand or shield at mid range and punished anything he did."

I'll probably go to a tourney this Sunday -- Sm4sh side event with approx. 32 people. Then April 4th it's time for the big one -- about 70 people for Wii U and double Link with Cat. What lovely memories they are, and of all things they discuss Blazblue together? Beat still mine kokoro-er... heart... yeah, that thing.

It might come as a suprise to the rest of SWF due to their misconceptions, but we the Link boards are a fairly welcoming bunch. They merely do not understand that we run a tight and tidy ship, and that spam threads and pointless whining does nothing but poke holes in this mighty vessel, a circumstance that brings us to constructive criticism and sarcastic (and totally facetious) flaming.

Do not misunderstand, we welcome all, but those who enter should do so on good behavior, just as they should anywhere else.

And boy I've had a kick for waxing philosophical lately :D

As the other people here can attest to, I am not Ganondorf, I am merely a vessel in which Ganondorf presides. I am my own person, truly, yet Ganondorf is always in my body, serving as a consul of sorts. I speak on Ganondorfs behalf, as well as my own.
