Tuesday, September 20th will be fighter night. Play any fighting game online with other SWFers!

Game suggestions: Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Marvel vs. Capcom 2/3, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, Street Fighter IV etc.


Friday, September 23th will be Minecraft and OMGPOP night.

Minecraft will be held at 6 PM EST and OMGPOP will be held at 7 PM EST. (Hosted by The Paprika Killer and Twinkie)

That's right. Doesn't it sound awesome? You bet. This will be a public server hosted by UltiMario, and I can help organize tournaments with access to the ACP, etc. etc. We'll keep you posted with proper I.P. address for those of you who don't know how to scroll through a list of servers.

If the postbit is made, will it carry over to tournaments that have happened before its creation? Like say the Mario Kart Tournament. Since it'll finish next week on the 25th, and the postbit is released say, the 28th, will the people who won the tournament on the 25th get the postbit?

Tetris is going to be hard to come by, since it's difficult to "meetup" per se on Tetris Friends, unless you find a website which can make that happen.

Also, I seriously suggest "Draw My Thing" for flash game night. And a Skype chat for each room of said game. Stuff is hilarious.

ehm yeah, I want to participate in the OMGPOP event. If someone else wants to host the MC night that's cool and I'm fine with running whatever variant/version/mod of minecraft you want to over my PC/internet, but I'm not going to bother to set up something special. If no one else is going to do so I'll just put the server up with whatever I'm using as current setup at that time then. you can then just give the host badge to whoever builds the most awesome creeper statue or something.

One last time, these will be the rules for the Mario Kart Wii tournament. The rooms for the tournament will be open in 10 minutes! The tournament itself is starting in 25.

Type: 2-Person Team Tournament

Date: Sunday, September 18th / 25th

Time: 6:00 PM EST (Room open 15 minutes prior)

Rules: This tournament works just the same as an anything-goes GP like we have done in the past. There will be a suspected eight groups of 2; and the teams will be purely choice, so you are able to team up with anyone you'd like! We will be using "Team-Tags" for this tournament, so please think up what your team-name will be and apply it to your Mii-name. At the end of each Grand Prix, whichever team has the lowest point-total will be eliminated from the tournament, and the next Grand Prix will begin. We will run through the tournament in random-cup-order, with a total of 32 races split between two weeks.

How this will work is:

1. Everyone will choose whatever stage they'd like
2. Cam chooses N64 Bowser's Castle and it is chosen
3. Seeing as N64 Bowser's Castle is in Lightning Cup, that will be the first cup to be played
4. The remaining three courses in Lightning Cup will then be allowed to be picked randomly
5. Once we are done with Lightning Cup, none of those stages will be allowed to be picked again for the remainder of the tournament.
6. Repeat process

The team with the most accumulated total at the end of the tournament will be crowned victorious.

Vehicle Choice: Any vehicle is allowed.

Character Choice: Any character is allowed.

Transmission: Any transmission is allowed.

Disconnections: In the case of someone disconnecting, it will be dependent on how far we were in the cup to determine the points you receive. If you disconnect on the first race, you will receive an extra 15-point bonus. Every race after that, your average points-per-race will be added onto your total.

Wrong Course Selection: In the case of a wrong stage-choice, the room will immediately be closed, and we will continue on the correct stage with the same scores.
