F8al though we didn't participate in the tourney me and Timmy(http://www.smashboards.com/member.php?u=185104) had friendlys with some people from the thread, does that count as participation?(only 12 people can play in the tourney so hopefully you give us a chance at a postbit)
Sorry if I sound pushy, I just wanted to participate :3

Race Night is just participation in actually playing the game (in this case Mario Kart Wii). There were a couple people who could not make it to the tournament, but instead played friendly races with other people during the tournament and after, which is still participating in the theme of the night. I can also confirm for brickbox and Yoshi8984's being there.

Lol.

In all seriousness, it's surprisingly hard to find just a plain old vanilla TF2 server with no weirdness that's more or less open enough for a lot of people to jump on all at once.

Wait so, is TF tonight or was it last night? I finally get some freedom from all these tests and quizzes after today, and wouldn't mind having my first game with you guys.

Same as my SWF account. I should be able to show up barring any sudden circumstances. Any estimate of how long you guys play and stuff?

We usually play for about an hour to an hour and a half. Dunno how long I'll be able to play tonight.

I have an IP for a 32 man, Chiacgo based, I think fast respawn server that gets very little use in the community I play TF2 with a bit. It's almost always empty, IP is 63.144.102.125:27015

Ooph, I get almost 90 ping at the server Ignatius posted. Kind of weird since I connect to a server based in Chicago and my ping is much lower than that.

I'll try to make it tonight. Is it ONLY TF2, or are other shooters officially being played? I'd be really down for some Halo.
No, you can play any online shooter you want with other SWFers. Some people here also play Halo: Reach on shooter nights.

Well, when he says he'd be down for some halo, he could be talking about PC, which is why I asked.

I'll host Reach then if there is interest. We're going to play at least a few rounds of Batball :D Even if you haven't played Reach in forever, consider joining for Batball; it is that **** fun:

Batball: Oddball gametype

The person with the Oddball (Batball) is Batman. Everyone else is a henchman.

Batman has no shields or recharging health, and Henchmen have bottomless clip pistols. (Batman can take exactly 3 shots).

Batman is invisible (except for the small flame of the Oddball), moves quickly, jumps high, and has high gravity.

The goal of the game is to earn as many kills with the Batball in the shortest amount of carry time (For example, someone who gets 7 ball kills in 60 seconds beats someone who got 13 ball kills in 120 seconds). Additionally, you must have held the Batball for at least 60 seconds in order to be considered for winning.

In order to win, Batman must be sneaky and take out the Henchmen without them realizing he is there, and then Batman must get the heck out and start stalking his next prey from safety.

The primary goal of the game is to be scared tman****less as a henchman trying to find Batman, and to just be the god**** Batman.

My friend has made TONS of custom maps designed for this gametype, each very unique and based on different Batman villians.

EDIT: I most certainly have Halo PC as well, and I'd be willing to host it some other shooter night.

Everyone who wants to play Reach: Add "Ingulit" to your friend list. The games start in an hour and thirty minutes!

EDIT: We're going to play 5 to 10 rounds. A lot of it will likely be Batball, though we have some other gametypes too (even standard Halo, surprise). You get a point for winning a game, and the one with the most points at the end wins. All of it will be FFA. Sound good?
