Let's talk about the Smash World Forums

It's very gray.

And residing in this gray lies many, many, sub forums, such as the dead F-Zero section, a highly intellectual General Brawl discussion, and something called a "Computer Cafe." I personally enjoy the wide variety of smilies available. The moderators here are amicable. I enjoy how I can type invisibly. Forum games are usually amusing. The Olimar Boards really don't have great signatures. I wonder why my last thread died.

Oh the SWF, I have grown very attached. What are your thoughts on this place?

Please do not discuss individual members.

Well, the thing I like most about individual members is that they seem to have a sense of individuality to them. They are so...individual. It really makes my day to know that there are individual members here.

Ever since Brawl came out, Melee discussion has died, and there isn't much to discuss in Brawl aside from the occasional 35% combo or grab infinite. SWF is kind of boring, well the S part anyway.

Poke Center is where I'm at. Learned most I know about competitive Pokemon from there.

Yes, it is competitive, complete with its own ATs, although not the the scale of melee.

Although right now besides the Custom Pokemon sprite Shop, most of the threads are about favorites and least favorites.

The first posts of n00bs in this really piss me off though, but I remind myself that I once posted like that.

Ahh, Smashboards... :D It's the site I've gone to the most, replacing FFN... Every time I get on the internet, I pop open both one of FFN's forums and the Social Group page here, then proceed to see what's poppin' in the Pool Room...

Fantastic site, but it's slightly losing it's steam. Not much is happening within the confines of the Wolf Boards, and General Brawl...

Definitely a favorite place to hang out in, I love how active it is. Sooo many different kinds of people brought together by the amazing thing that is smash. I've met so many great people here and learned so many interesting things both smash and non-smash related. Definitely gona be stickin round here for a loooong time lolz.

I like CM the best. I just wish that more people would write non-fanfic stuff. I've got nothing against fanfic, but I like to read people's original ideas. It also seems to have the greatest concentration of high-quality posters.

The Debate Hall makes me want to rip my eyes out sometimes.

Obvious reasons. The GBD was great before Brawl came out, since then...it has really sucked.

I come to smashboards and check melee, PRoom, PC, and Light house. That's really all I go to.

I found SWF to be kind of like crack, once you post here you'll find yourself posting about everyday. I've learned some cool stuff here and met some awesome people. The Forum games is one of my favorite sections....XD

GBD is always good for a few laughs too...

My membership her will be 2 or three years this november.

I've grown to love the Green people, especially shadow.

The Red people, especially SP and Crimson King cause he's so... mature compared to the rest of them

And some of the Blue people.

Eh... It's come a long way. The gray look's pretty sleak. It's really expanded too, there're so many boards, sub-boards, topics, whatever, that I get lost whenever I try to come back here. What with all the new people and the lack of new stuff to talk about with Brawl, there have been paths paved for other topics: picture swapping, tourneys, etc.

Having said that.... There's really not much here to attract me anymore. I don't know anybody anymore, and I'm never going to be so dedicated to Brawl that I can participate in tourneys. Besides, I'm broke, but that's nothing new.

I would really enjoy the Creative Minds part if there were less crappy stories... no offense to the crappy story writers... heh.........

So, yeah... thoughts from me.

I have to admit, the Brawl and Melee war almost made me up and leave, cause I thought that would utterly dominate the forums forever. Fortunatley, I stuck it out, and now I'm content just hanging out in Make Your Move 3.0 and occasionaly chiming in on other topics. And forum games are always fun.

I think it's okay, but sometimes I wonder if it's worth it. I mean, I don't have a Wii...yet, and I'd like to get one. One prob though, if I want 2 meet Smash players, I've to drive, what, 30 min. to have a decent fight? I can't drive, so that's out of the question People that I can fight usually suck and talk A LOT of trash.

Then again, Smash Boards has cool peole here like Firus and derek. They always have something nessesary to say.
